In this updates, we get to see these 3 robots in both robot and alternate mode.
Interesting note is that the cement mixer of Madblender is able to transform to various hand guns. According to TFC, these weapons can be used by any members of Hercules.

Madblender
Structor
And just now we've received the images for Doctor Crank's robot and vehicle modes!

that sounds like a terrible idea.
Madblender: I want that gun.
Structor: you had that one last time. I want it.

That's him right there. And with some Googling, you can find colored pics.

*Hook's 'official' proto-pics have been released. I'm sure they'll be added to the thread shortly.

Mad Blender's (a.k.a. Not-Mixmaster) robot mode is cool as well especially with his chemical mixing tank splitting up like that to become multiple weapons. I also find it interesting the amount of hinges and such just on the back set of wheels, leaving them up in the air, sprouting up from his shoulders. I know they are hinged, I just hope they swivel as well in case I don't want them so up in the air like that.
Regardless, this is turning out to be one amazing set that I'm glad I've been hording away money just so I can purchase it. Those of us who've ordered it, hopefully we should be seeing Heavylabor (a.k.a. Not-Long Haul) before the end of the month to stand next to our Exgraver (a.k.a. Not-Scavenger).

Heavy Labor, Dr Crank and Structor are the stand outs for me. Neckbreaker seems a little small, Exgraver is all leg and Mad Blender's alt mode let's him down.

Well, after seeing the pics of the complete set, i'm glad i got exgraver. i have some nitpicks about the set but i would just be nitpicking if i mentioned them hahaha. overall, can't wait to complete herc and have him bash my masterpiece grimlock.
on a sidenote, it would be nice if some of these third party companies completed the dinobot line on the same scale with masterpiece grimlock...
i'm sure maketoys' version will be great but i'm bias towards huge-ass robots...

Agreed. It's a little early to say it got pwned. We haven't even saw the individual Cons yet.

Scrapper is f**king dope !!! Definitally my favorite of the bunch. Hook is nice too. They went all out with his crane reach length. Bonecrusher is nice too. I dont like the pistons on his shoulders but it could have been worse. Overall still a nice figure.
On to necessary politics :
Dr Crank ??? Theyre kidding, right ??? As usual I refuse to call them by their silly given names. Were just online blog posters. Nobodys going to hunt us down and sue us for typing a copyrighted name on this thread. If you buy these figures then you support copyright infringment (just like me) so stop trying to act innocent by using the silly names or the word "not". Were all guilty of jumping on the "why cant Hasbro give us stuff like this" bandwagon.

Now it's just a waiting game to see final, painted products and to actually get these in our hands; but I can wait, due to individual pricing of these figures.
Before there was Erector, there was Dr Crank...

I bet Maketoy lost a lot of sales...especially if they cost anywhere near what Hercules does.

I know 3rd party names can be daft (sometimes amusingly so). But at the end of the day these are the names that have been given to these products. It's like insisting on calling a Ford Focus ST a Volvo S40 just because it's based on the same structure and engine. We all know who these figures are meant to be, and I doubt any of us would call them by their given names in the privacy of our own collections, but these daft names do help differentiate between the various companies' figures in a discussion.
The whole "Not-Thingy" thing though really is stupid and indeed p!sses me off.
Anyway: they're all looking pretty awesome to me. Very eagerly awaiting this lot now. A couple of things are bugging me though. How many wheels does Mad Blender need? If they're not critical to his forms I may remove the lone pair behind the cab. Also not impressed to see Hercules' head in Dr. Crank looking decisively hollow still. A tad lame. Nothing that's going to put me off to any degree whatsoever. I mean, come on!! Look how long the Doc's crane is!! You know he's compensating for something. And Blender's drum splitting into a small arsenal!! Where did that come from? They're all pretty much of a muchness but still a nice idea.
Oh god, I can't wait!!! Top work TFClub.

Scrapper, Hook and Mixmaster look brilliant. Scrapper is the definate winner of the lot. Hook is a bit weird though, what's up with the crane? On the end there is nothing just a small piece on the side that looks like something to put your coat on. Is he going to have an actual hook or is this it? I like the long reach but with nothing useful at the end it kinda defeats the purpose.
Posted by BeastProwl on September 11th, 2011 @ 3:53pm CDT
ANYWAY, Mixmaster is amazing, gotta say. I like them all so far. If only expences allowed me to actually purchase these. Well, maybe one day, in the FAR future, I'll be able to...

And these look pretty damn good. The barrel splitting into different weapons is approaching Fansproject levels of awesome.

Well, I wouldn’t say calling them by their real names is insulting the company that made them. If the toy looks good enough to be called by its 1980’s name, then you are actually giving the company your G1 blessing as a G1 fan.
A good example is the CHMS Rainmakers and Sunstorm. The packages have no official names from the CHMS factory. But KO Toys didn’t choose to market them as the “Stormy Weather Brigade” or “Solar Infusion Seeker”. The marketed them as The Rainmakers and Sunstorm because they were that damn good. Now if that isn’t paying a homage, then what is ???
And we are definitely on the same page about the “NOT” crew. I hate when they say that stupidity. If it’s “NOT” good enough to be considered the real deal, then why cant they “NOT “comment at all ???

Probably true, and they'll gain them right back when MT releases and update. Personally, I choose both

Only looks to be costing me about $564 shipped...maybe less if I look to go with an even cheaper option for the later releases. But I think I might stick with RK as I'm confident they'll correct any issues should they arise.

I am not convinced bigger is better for my collection and want to see more of the Maketoys Build set. To me, it (Build) just looks more consistent with the Hasbro releases/gestalts and in better scale with my other Classics figures. Plus, I think we'll see the MT set closer to the $400 dollar mark... and I still don't believe the TFC Hercules' head is centered.

Hercules' head is on a swing arm, centering won't be a problem.

But IMO this is all win, spending 600$ at once is stupid and almost impossible to fathom on a toy. But 100$ a month, every other month is much more intelligent. I'm glad they are doing it in a series.

Dear TFC,
Please have mercy on my wallet and either a) don't do these at all or b) don't make them as utterly awesome as Hercules so I might have a shot at resisting the need to purchase.
