The photos show us Josh Duhamel and Tyrese Gibson on set, as well as a clear look at Ironhide (GMC Topkick), Ratchet (search and rescue Hummer), Sideswipe (Corvette Centennial concept car) and the new Chevrolet Volt.
The Volt, previously seen during the shoot at Long Beach here, is a production model of a new hybrid vehicle by Chevrolet. Chevrolet representatives stated that the Volt would not be a Transformer character in the sequel, but seeing the vehicle twice in two completely different locations (Long Beach acting as Shanghai and White Sands acting as Jordan) seems to prove otherwise.

Hopefully, the color red is being saved for an awesome reveal in the future -- such a debuting with HOT ROD!

It's clear the Volt is an Autobot.... GM wouldn't have the Volt as a Con... not a chance....
