I have personal reasons for deeply hating such things so although I love a story where the bad guys win, I hope the imagry takes a much different turn.

I understand and respect your point of view. But you can't deny it fits Megatron's personality, as expressed on the bio for the toy. The quote "Peace Through Tyranny" simply evokes such imagery.

You right, even down to the fact that he turnes into a variant of a Lugger!
Still, I'm German and Italian, in the war my family on both sides fought against the Axis. I was taught to hate it and rightfuly so. The kicker is that my older siblings who were taught the same thing thought it would be a good way to rebel by praising it.
That caused alot of problems for me growing up, home I was branded a traitor, outside I was assumed a sympithizer due to my name alone even though I never showed an inkling of supporting the local skinhead groups.
So now, when I see it, I hate it even more, and know it's worth fighting against. Even though the people your fighting for are just lining up to spit at you anyway, so then you fight them based on that reason and besure they know thats why!
Just some uneeded insite.

Decepticons are basicly giant robot Nazis. Whenever I explain what the Decepticons are about to a non-Transformers fan, they all reply, "Oh, so they're like Nazis". It's hard to watch G1 and not see all the references. I even listed them all while writing this post, but it seemed kind of insensitive. But that said, I wish there was a Decepticon equivalent to the Gestapo. How bad ass would that be? Maybe that's why I really like Animated Blitzwing.
So yeah, I like the look of it so far. But what is this about? Megatron looks like G1, but the Seeker silouettes look like F22s, which would mean movie Seekers.

The IDWverse G1 seekers are F22s.

also, as for transformer nazis, i think the decepticons are more like communists - as seen in the megatron origin series, the root of their rebellion is that the upper class have indulged in their frivolities at the expense of the lower classes.
if we're talking tf nazis, nova prime/nemesis prime would fit the description better. after all, wasn't it nova prime who believed that TF life is the most supreme and therefore it's their destiny to colonize the galaxy and its lesser life forms?

I'm the same way. I hate Nazis (being part Jewish, that's a given) but I love the stories like "Empire Strikes Back" where the baddies win. Hell, When I was a kid, I always insisted on playing as the Decepticons, or the Cylons, or Cobra, or the Visitors....

Actually, yes. Ever notice how Prime is All-American, like John Wayne?

This is awesome artwork and is now my desktop. In fact I think this would make an awesome basis for a full comic in this style.
They should release this as a full sized poster.

That'd be GREAT! It would match the other art-deco Iron-Curtain-style posters I have in my bedroom!
I LOVE art-deco!

No that's not G1 Megatron, the chin is too big. That's Animated Megatron.
