We have two news items for this repaint heavy toyline. Firstly, the first wave of deluxe figures for the Netflix Transformers series figures is out in Canadian Walmarts. The voyagers were also out a bit earlier and you can see some reviews here. Those deluxes consist of Chromia, Scrapface, Sideswipe, Decepticon Disguise Mirage and Hound. You can view reviews of those here.
For the US though, we have other news. We have received several e-mails from fans showing us that Walmart contacted them to let them know that their orders for the voyagers would be delayed. We don't know if the toys will show up in shelves before.

I assume that it is. Retailers are prioritizing groceries, medical, and other essential items. This entire market segment can't be a priority right now. I won't be surprised if the June date gets pushed as it gets closer.

Note that the pre-orders have been listed with a June release for a while now, it's just taken this long for the order status to catch up as we've come up to the original release date. I guess it was just wishful thinking that the earlier pre-orders were still being honored while newer pre-orders got the new date.

I was happy to get the delay email on Magnus, it reminded me to cancel the order.

One of the emails said something about "The Manufacturer sets the release date" so it could be Walmart passing the buck, or Hasbro is having trouble getting product imported because of COVID restrictions or a minimal staff, or both.
But hey! It'll STILL be out before we hear another word on the TV show its trying to represent...

Invert his colors to black and purple,
Switch the treads out for wheels,
Give him his fusion cannon,
Do a shorter Prime-style knife blade,
Make his turret telescope a bit,
Add a connector to his front so that two Astrotrains (or just one in the middle), can pull him.
His alt-mode should now look like this: https://www.warhistoryonline.com/wp-con ... Modell.jpg And kaboom! What ER Megs should be.
What do you think? Would this work?

Zero, I agree. I just really want a Gustav Gun Megs that's under $100.

IIRC, Amazon's lowest price was around $110.nycPrime wrote:Thanks! Does anyone know what the lowest price Omega Supreme went for? I remember Amazon had it at 20% off for a little bit, which would've been about $140 after tax. Did it ever go lower than that? Can't believe this thing is sold out at most places now, and more than retail where it is available.
I kick myself because my "buy it now" price was $100 or less shipped. We're in strange times, so I'm going continue to play the waiting game. Disclaimer; I'm OK with missing out.

Yeah with tru gone from the US no other store will carry it, so I’m guessing Hasbro massively scaled back production to not take such a loss on unmoving merch

I don't remember $110, I only remember that one time Amazon had him for 20% off, I think shortly before or after black Friday. That's why, when BBTS got him back in stock in late February at normal retail I jumped on it. Now a few sites still have him but goes from $170 and up.
I'm definitely preordering Scorponok. Though typically Decepticins don't sell as well, I think Hasbro is learning, and producing less, then if demand is still high ( as in the case of PotP deluxe wave 2) they can actually produce more.
But seeing the glut of Leader Shockwaves unsold, I'm sure Hasbro knows retailers will be ordering less because they don't want to lose money either.

I got mine the first weekend of December $111 shipped. that was the cheapest he got, he's hardly had many deals because he was so popular as well, he was well received.

I managed to find him yesterday and aside from a minor white paint blotch on the front, I like him a lot, especially combined with Cog. The weapon... eh, Pinpointer and/or Trenchfoot for me. He is a bit tall compared to his Headmaster buddies (I only have Hardhead and Brainstorm), but that adds to his toughness I suppose.

IMO that's not Pinpointer anymore than the animation fail-based black-and-purple redeco of Blowpipe is Caliburst.JelZe GoldRabbit wrote:ZeldaTheSwordsman wrote:Well, unless you import LG62 Windblade you're going to be waiting a while on Pinpointer, since Hasbro only gave us Blowpipe, Firebolt, and Blowpipe retooled into Aimless based on the Legends Aimless rather than Aimless' original toy or character model.

It literally is Pinpointer. The figure name is "Captive PINPOINTER
But I am using the Legends onw since I habe that Windblade. You know who else made a nice Pinpointer? The Arms Micron dude. He could fly in addition to being a wierd gun thing
Posted by ZeldaTheSwordsman on April 6th, 2020 @ 1:47pm CDT
No it isn't, not really. It's called Pinpointer, but it's just Firebolt in Pinpointer's colors. Because Hasbro has made all of two gun Battlemaster molds so far, only one of which (Blowpipe) seems to have alternate tooling (Aimless' limbs and barrels).Flashwave wrote:ZeldaTheSwordsman wrote:IMO that's not Pinpointer anymore than the animation fail-based black-and-purple redeco of Blowpipe is Caliburst.JelZe GoldRabbit wrote:ZeldaTheSwordsman wrote:Well, unless you import LG62 Windblade you're going to be waiting a while on Pinpointer, since Hasbro only gave us Blowpipe, Firebolt, and Blowpipe retooled into Aimless based on the Legends Aimless rather than Aimless' original toy or character model.

The Takara "Pointech" Pinpointer really is Pinpointer, although it still needs kitbashing to be fully right (all the Legends Targetmasters do).

My hopes were so high for the Battlemasters at first.. The original ones are cool, as is Lionizer, but the gun ones have just been phoned in after the first three and it's rather disappointing...

Is it known for hip problems or balance issues (center of gravity)

I've never noticed it as a problem, but I would say a little extra attention to his legs is necessary. Typically I end up hyper extending his knees.Rogue-Primal wrote:I have small problem with my new SIEGE Prowl figure. yes and there are no pegs to lock into position. Buyers are expected to "get a feel for it" as a result which is ridiculous.

He does have a tendency to look like he is on his tip toes and leaning forward.
I've never seen it as a problem, just awkward at its worst. I do think I remember reading complaints about his legs and feet though. I dig his high heel shoes. I like the bots with the pumps and a hood bump
