156569 – EX TRA Autobot Masterpiece – $99.99
The listings was found in CSIS (Centralized Sales Improvement System, which is Toys R Us' inventory network) by TFW2005 user Optimus423
While the listing is vague, it confirms a few points. Firstly, this means that Hasbro will continue to provide Toysrus with exclusives, which people doubted with the reveal that MPM Ironhide would not be a Toysrus exclusive. Secondly, it means that Hasbro is continuing to release Takara's Masterpiece figures since this listing cannot reffer to any MPM toy. It being an Autobot means that only one out of the two MPM toys that would have worked would have been Ironhide, and as we just mentioned, he is not an exclusive.
So this listing must reffer to an Autobot (and sadly not a Maximal), from Takara's Masterpiece line. Prices have been all over the place in the past few years so it is hard to tell exactly which Takara Masterpiece Autobot Hasbro and Toysrus would release for $100. It looks far too low for Ultra Magnus and far too high for Sideswipe or Wheeljack. Could this be Masterpiece G1 Iornhide?
Let us know what you think.
This toy adds to the several Toysrus Transformers exclusives coming our way this year which now include:
40846 - EX TRA Seeker Thundercracker - $29.99 (DC has 978 on order)
40765 - EX TRA Rebekah Garage - $29.99 (Bumblebee movie?)
141434 - EX TRA Optimus Starscream Set - $24.99
141450 - EX TRA Street Racer - $16.99
156569 - EX TRA Autobot Masterpiece - $99.99

I too would love to have the primary seeker trio in Voyager scale, or even a sextet if we're including the "coneheads," but NOT for this mold. This rendition of Starscream isn't my idea of a real "Classics/neoG1" update of the character. I think we're going to have to wait another several years at this point.

Possible, but that would be the first "non-screen" character in that line-up, which seems to be focusing on characters actually featured in the first couple of films so far. It being an exclusive, though, might mitigate that somewhat.

Those. Figures are ok looking classic seeker figures for seekers are still ones personally like fun to transform voyager seekers in power of prime figure series are good step up for seeker figures

I would actually have liked to see the rest of the seekers made into deluxe size to be limbs for starscream to be honest. It seemed to me that would have been a cool use for them.

They just reissued Optimus in 2017 and for 160 so on both counts I think we should think of another character.

If the reissue of MP-10 by Hasbro last year was already $140, I sincerely doubt that Ultra Magnus would go for any less then that, let alone for $100. I think the safest bets are either one of the "larger" van/truck chracters like Ironhide or Inferno, or, as you suggested already, a much more costly car mold, like Sunstreaker.

Also, announcing what they have rights to and are PLANNING to release would prevent us from buying 3P masterpiece for items like Mirage, Hound, Jazz, etc.
(Or conversely, knowing they have NO plans to release something due to licensing issues, that would let us know we need to resort to 3P. I know a lot of us are on the fence, keeping an eye out for word from Takara.)

Seeing Greenlight here, under the Siege line, means she will probably be a retool of Chromia and also not sport a combiner peg (no fembot combiner for you!). Slamdance, under the Firestormers, might be a redeco of Skythread. You can speculate as well, of course.
As for the studio series we have a voyager KSI Bot, deluxe hightower, an unknown and the aforementioned DOTM Optimus Prime.
The full list is below:

Also, this is almost definitely what the Firestormer pack will be based on: https://tfwiki.net/wiki/Firestormer
Probably a sign of a G2 Sideswipe, given that we can see he’ll be in it. It think that’s pretty neat.

The only problem with that idea is that with Slamdance, Grand Slam (the red tank) forms the upper body and Raindance (the blue jet) forms the lower body. Using the same mold as Skytread/Flywheels, Grand Slam will now form the red lower body and Raindance will now form the blue upper body of Slamdance. While it still works like this, it also still takes away from the appearance of the G1 Character. Not to mention that they both lose their third transformation, which is forming cassettes that store inside Blaster's chest.

Any reason you guys aren't thinking that the "Firestormer Pack" might be a Sideswipe figure with Slamdance done in the style of WFC "Micromasters" Ravage and Laserbeak?

Aside from them being possibly exclusives, thus potentially disqualifying them from new molds, it's the right most number in the table, which is the price more than likely:
Voyager SS: 349
Deluxe SS: 249
Leader SS: 549
Deluxe WFC: 169
Voyager WFC: 269
Leader WFC: 469
Greenlight WFC: 249
Firestomer WFC: 499
Skywarp WFC: 499
Greenlight fits with the "Deluxe + extra", but the Firestormer and Skywarp packs are more than Leader. The contents has to be quite substantial to justify the price, and Slamdance as a pair of cassettes wouldn't really cut it.

Well, I imagine it’ll be a mod of the existing SS voyager figure with a trailer/jet pack, so not the same size or complexity as the ROTF leader. It certainly won’t have the same paint apps as the Movie the Best figures, but it’ll hopefully come with Some accessories that neither of those have.

Another one? We are already getting a modified Voyager Prime that seems to combine with the upcoming Jetfire figure.
Two Voyager Primes with different "flight packs" seems excessive.
I could see a trailer taking up the extra Leader cost. But that would just be disappointing.
A thought comes to mind however... What if Hasbro decided to bring Takara's "upscaled" Evasion mode Prime into the Studio Series?

Doubtful as that would screw with that scale guide they are using. I do believe it will be a retool of the voyager prime with trailer that transforms into flight pack. Then I think they'll make a new prime to better represent knight prime the year after...(oh and a Cybertron Prime from the Bumblebee Movie)

What if the trailer instead or also (yeah right) formed the big ring-shaped armory? We've never had an official toy of that. Also, a voyager DOTM Optimus would be further distinguished by the chestplate. And hopefully he'd include Optimus' BFG from DOTM. Or maybe the shield or the axe.
Also, that "Legendary" Optimus figure wouldn't exactly be a DOTM Optimus now would it?

Well we know that the firestormer pack includes more than just swipe qnd slamdance as it also has someone whose name begins with ai and possibly more, so as long as those other figures are of enough value they can still release this set with a micromaster combiner slamdance and still keep it around $50

Plus I don't like the way that G2 Sideswipe looks either, so the only thing that would motivate me in buying this "Firestomer pack" is if Slamdance is a Flywheels retool. I'd just buy it for Slamdance and sell the rest. But if it's a crummy cassettes combiner that "wolverinetodd" seems to be hoping for with no Voyager Blaster even confirmed. Then that set is all his...
And here's hoping that Skywarp comes with someone better in his pack then.

The second set of "E" numbers on the right are the assortment codes, and here's the funny thing: the Fan Vote figure doesn't have one, that's usually an indication it's an exclusive. Thoughts?

Beast Wars fans will be happy to see that we are getting a Cheetor toy and it will be one of those more fun looking battle armour ones. A warrior Slipstream will be coming too. Last but not least, we will be getting another Studio Series Leader Megatron. This will be different from the DOTM leader though it is not sure if that means it will just be a redeco/retool or a totally different mold for his Movie 1 self. Afterall, he is the only one missing from the 2007 line up in Studio Series.

I see. Quick Google search later.. Surely as a "guardian" of anything, there are better picks out there, even among the BW cast, than Cheetor? Tigatron or Dinobot immediately come to mind. Or even Rhinox?

Who's to say at the moment, I enjoyed season 1 so I'm willing to give the people in charge the benefit of the doubt.
As for the codes being the same, I wonder if the initial source pressed the wrong key when typing them out
