MOTHER OF GOD! X just admitted to LIKING a G1 homage that isn't identical to the original!
I can't wait for more info on the giftset. Hun-Gurrr looks absolutely fantastic.

Im not crazy about the red instead of Magenta. But since Abominus was one of my favorites as a kid, I gotta get this homage. Hopefully, the gift set will be more G1 colors, but if not at least I wont miss out on the individual bots. Got Sinnertwin a couple weeks ago. Honestly I wish they would made these the Deluxe molds and made Lazerback and Ripclaw the Cyberverse instead.

They're in the 3rd party forum, there's even a sticky explaining this.

Ryan doesn't do 3rd party galleries and anymore. He wants to support official Hasbro/TakaraTomy product, and all the third party stuff collectively becomes too numerous and expensive to keep up with.griftimus prime wrote:please do more 3rd party galleries. i keep finding out by mistake about newer and cooler looking 3rd party figs by mistake because you dont have articles for them anymore.

We no longer promote unlicensed 3rd party products here on Seibertron.com. There are so many Transformers products coming out these days from Hasbro and Takara that I can barely keep up with the official products let alone 3rd party products.
Please check out our 3rd party forum to find out what's going on in the world of 3rd party products. You can find our 3rd party forum at unofficial-transformers-3rd-party-and-knock-offs-toys-f215.php

I kinda want to get Predaking to go with the Terrorcons, as they are pleasantly not drowning in typical European dragons unlike the mainline Preds, but Predaking himself looks a bit subpar, even for Cyberverse.
Soundwave's... er, "face" gets kinda lost with the rest of his head being painted the same black.

I picked up Airachnid aswell, and shes pretty neat in both modes. I'm surprised by the quality of the plastic on such small figures. Sinnertwin has some pretty clean, smooth edges. Great display pieces for filling out the collection.

I was thinking the same thing myself. The more I see of the commander one the more I like it...though it's largely because the more I see of the OTHER versions, the more I dislike them. Even if the hunch-backed look becomes show accurate, I like the look of the commander more, it just looks more imposing than the somewhat hunch-backed robot mode of the bigger figures.

I completely agree. Some of these figures are some of the best that have come out of the Cyberverse and Legends Class sized figures yet. The transformations on these are improving. I'm really impressed by the transformation in the Smokescreen/Prowl molds. I think the arm transformation is really clever. I think Airachnid is very impressive. I wish they had figure out something so that the "hood" behind her head wouldn't be there, but other than that with all things considered about the size, I think it's pretty impressive -- far more than her deluxe class counterpart. I really like Predaking as well even though his face is simpler than the Voyager class version. He's very poseable. Soundwave is a great figure as well, but I agree about the head lacking some paint app or something.
I think they're doing the right things if they want to keep pushing Cyberverse as a main ongoing subline.
The only I don't like is thinking about getting Cyberverse versions of characters that never get the full size treatment. Please give us Abominus as 4 deluxes plus 1 Voyager!

The hood is very obvious, but, luckily for her, it sort of acts as this creepy hood as if she were a hooded witch or something. Z'ow I see it anyway. And yes, time to step the game up and do large sized gestalts... THAT DON'T SUCK. Abominus would be the perfect figure as he is so monstrous, you can forgive some crazy propotions and animal heads for hands.

Bulkhead's hammer-blade-whatever is strikingly similar to the Gravity Hammer from the Halo franchise.

But then have Predaking's be really underdetailed and simplistic looking?
Really, seeing how well the Movieverse Cyber..verse figures we able to recreate the detailed faces, I wouldn't think this would be that hard to replicate:

Looks to see I wasn't the only one who was picking up that vibe from the hammer.
Still waiting for the Insecticon/Hardshells to show up around here though...

Hardshell looks pretty cool, if very Barrage-esque. Kinda want to see the other obscure Insecticons get Cyberverse updates now, if not a full swarm of insect-bots we don't normally see (i.e. a mantis, antlion, cockroach, fly, etc). *sigh* A pipe dream...

Some of those alt modes have been on my "where's a Beast Wars revival" list for years. Add in a Zebra, a brown horse, a butterfly, a whale, a dolphin, and a slew of other common animals and I'd be a very happy camper ... especially if they did a proper school bus and/or a coach bus as well as some additional construction and farm equipment. I still think there are licensing deals that have been long overlooked with the Transformers brand with zoos and other avenues other than traditional retail. Imagine an officially licensed John Deere Transformer that turns into a tractor!

Thankfully it's as easy as that to fix, thank you ball joints!

Does this work well on those pesky pin and hip joints as well? BH Voyager Prime's legs are pretty floppy and it's no quick fix as they not only screwed the waist together but reinforced it with super glue.

No word on either way of the subject.Nemesis Destron wrote:Does anyone know or heard if Trailcutter will be a deluxe or a Cyberverse only?
Well, I don't know if I'd call that Bombshell with that everything of his, but they are what they are.Megatron Wolf wrote:both look good, dont know if id call that trailbreaker with that head sculpt though. Id pick them up for $7 each but not for $10, maybe ill get lucky and find these guys before these $3 off coupons expire.
Yup, TF: Prime Hardshell is the TF: Prime counterpart of G1 Bombshell.
