We're very proud to announce that another gallery has been uploaded to Seibertron.com: Transformers Go! Budora. The figure is a Takara red and gold repaint of the Grimwing mold, also used for Darksteel, with the addition of a new head. It joins the rest of our Transformers Go! galleries, which can be viewed here!

The Oni look so regal compared to their Hasbro counterparts.

I like Budora's beast mode head more than GrimWing/DarkSteel's.

I'm the other way. I like the Hasbro griffon head better. The Takara version is basically a flamingo with tusks. Really hate the down-turned bottom jaw.

The bot head is really nice and I like the mold overall. I've heard people complain that it felt cheap and hollow, but I don't think it feels bad at all. My only major complaint is the lack of wing articulation, real shame they wasted the joint on the spikes.

A friend that owed me money picked up and is holding onto Grimwing for me and I plan on getting Darksteel, too. I love beast Transformers so both Go! and Beast Hunters are really fun for me.

Oh, just noticed the gallery doesn't have any shots of him with his shoulder weapons out. Probably a lot of people don't even know about them, they aren't on the box, just in the instructions (which I don't normally use, but I was trying to figure out if there was a release for the hips or if it was all friction).

Just when you thought we'd had plenty of galleries from the Transformers Prime and Go! lines, here are two more - and it's for big 'uns! Seibertron.com is proud to present its newest gallery additions: Beast Hunters Weaponizer Class Talking Bumblebee and Tracker Optimus Prime. Both are retools and redecos of their previous Weaponizer incarnations, Bumblebee now sporting a mouth and Optimus showing off a new green paint deco. Click on any of the images below to view the full galleries!

I wonder what's up with that green Optimus? Both the Cyberverse and this one have it, suggesting it's based on something, but there doesn't seem to be any reason for it (yet).
Or maybe it isn't based off of anything, and Hasbro's finally getting away from just slightly changing the shades of Optimus' red and/or blue.

BB's new face sculpt is great, and I'm loving that cleaver sword OP has.

Yeah, green was my top choice for an Optimus repaint... well, aside from purple, white, black, gray, blue, orange, yellow... but definitely just below those. Certainly above pink.

I saw the Green Optimus the other day and my 6 yr old wasn't impressed by it either. Of course he was also drooling over Metroplex so that might have had something to do with it.

It might just be me but does Bee look taller than Optimus? Maybe just the way they are photoed.

The Transformers Go! galleries has expanded once again. Up for your consideration, we have the last of the four Oni. Following the galleries for Bakudora, Budora and Gaidora we have finally brought you Judora. Released by Hasbro as Skystalker, Judora features a new head sculpt. Really digging the head on this one. I like how it fills the entire lower jaw. Skystalker's head looked weird because of that.

Fans of the recent Transformers Prime: Beast Hunters TV film Predacons Rising will dig this! Seibertron.com is pleased to present to the public our latest additions, Predacons Rising Darksteel and Skylynx! Darksteel is a blue redeco of Beast Hunters Grimwing, and Skylynx is a redeco of Beast Hunters Skystalker in rather patriotic colors. Both characters and other toys under the Predacons Rising banner are exclusive to Target stores. Check out the new recruits to the Predacon faction below!

Sky Lynx somehow looks better here than in Jon's review, but I still can't see this mold's weapon firing gimmick as anything but the "Vestigial Bike-Kibble Attack", and the choice of colors makes Sky's wheels look rusty, rendering him weaker than his mold-mates.

Unless...maybe it's a Cosmic-Rust Attack! That would actually be an appropriately intimidating power for an ancient revived monster. Sure he didn't have that in the movie, but then he didn't really have a color scheme either...

In spite of these two being showcharacters, I like them far less then Skystalker and Grimwing. They just are not accurate enough to the screen to hold my interest. Skip-a-di-do-dah.

I hate how the show went and picked the least interesting Predacon molds, then managed to make the show models even less interesting. And it's a shame they dragged Sky Lynx's name into it all, since the original Sky Lynx was one of the most interesting TFs from the original series. Bah.

This thicker stripe variant is the one we got here in the UK. Well, it's what was on the shelves when I bought him at least :P I wasn't aware there was more than one version either.

Up next in the galleries of Seibertron, we have a couple of Bumblebees and these guys came here to chew bubblegum and hunt Predacons...and they are all out of bubblegum. From Takara Tomy comes Transformers Go! Hunter Bumblebee while Nova Blast Bumblebee hails from Target's exclusive Transformers Prime Beast Hunters Predacons Rising subline. Both of these figures are redecos of the original Beast Hunters Bumblebee.

It also is a darker shade of yellow, doesn't have the red swirls in his yellow plastic like the Hasbro version, and has sparkly black paint on his spoiler instead of a flat black paint. It's a minor variant but a variant nonetheless. Predaking and Hunter Bumblebee have the most minor differences of the entire Go! line.

The missiles also look a ta brighter, as do the headlights.

But, yeah, Hunter Bumblebee's differences are so subtle as to be virtually unnoticeable by the naked eye.

At least Dragotron has the virtue of possibly being a different character from Predaking. ;)

He's an homage to G1 Slicer, who was used as a template for SG Wheeljack. As such, BotCon 2010 Slice (made from the G1 Wheeljack homaging Energon Downshift) was made to double as both:

Image

G1 Slice on the left, BotCon 2010 Decepticon Slice on the right.

As for the rest: Bumblebee is Goldbug, Starscream is Skywarp, and Knock Out references the G1 Constructicons, the closest thing the G1 'Cons had for medics (especially Hook).

Dark Energon Wheeljack and Shattered Glass Wheeljack are both homages to Action Master Slicer, a Decepticon repaint of Action Master Wheeljack.

Which reminds me that I need to get around to finishing up the European Action Master exclusives at some point.
