Possibly a bit on the small side, but I'm sure it (they) will fit into my collection nicely.

They do but it's a repaint/rework of Perceptor.
I hate that this is so small, but I'll probably get it anyway as I love these characters and need more Decepticons.

Ohhh, forgot about that. It was mentioned at Botcon right? Depending on how each product turns out, I may end up with both.

I'd be ecstatic if not-Reflector would be about the size f an actual SLR in camera mode, but alas it's not to be; if I remember correctly the triplets were not all that much larger than Rumble & Frenzy, though of course PE has downsized them a bit from their incarnation as cassettes.Flux Convoy wrote:It's a real shame the bot modes are gonna be so tiny though. I passed on their cassette bots because of that.

if it was a Hasbro toy would the topic be posted in the Knock Offs and 3rd Party Toys forum? I'm just wondering why you've come to post here if you're so devoted to one company that you'll deprive yourself of something you like because another company is making it?

my problem is that it looks awesome but its not made by hasbro. which means they will overcharge for it. it wont be affordable. just like the new devastator figures. they look incredible but will cost lord knows how much.

sounds like they'll charge more than you're willing, or able, to pay. not necessarily that they're overcharging for it. I'd wager that the final cost per unit vs cost to make would show a significantly higher mark-up on a Hasbro toy than a 3rd party one.

Im aslso sick of hearing how if its not Hasbro its not real. Who cares ??? If it looks good and fits in scale with the rest of a collection then its all good. Be happy somebody is doing what hasbro wont do.

I love those swivel feet. Nothin beats a flat footed action pose. It shows that some thought went into the design.
Great quiver of weapons that come with him as well. I like the shield and knife!! That's my favorite weapon with my Crossfire 2 set. I display my Bruticus with just the knife. I'm likin this little trend of melee weapons.

Andrius wrote:Oh please oh please oh please, let this turn into a camera and not a gun or a cannon or anything that can be combined with city commander. That robot mode is pure win, but I'm getting a bit tired of Perfect Effect's cassette robots that transform into blah. Hopefully this will be a proper representation of Reflector in BOTH modes.

Don't worry he along with two other bots do combine into a camera. The package art on the Ninja/Kingbat set clearly showed them albeit blacked out.
RK_Striker_JK_5 wrote:Hmm... a bit too small for me. And there'll be a Reflector coming out anyway. Will pass... for now.
Unfortunately their Reflector will only be a repaint, hopefully with a new head, of Perceptor. Which does not really work for me.

The camera alt-mode just seals the deal.

A lot cheaper and a lot bigger. Cost is the factor, along with the new Generations/RTS figures being pretty damned good so far.

Yes they have been quite nice. But, you can only do so much with a slight retool and a new head sculpt. It will be a lot cheaper but to me the PE version is worth it. Hasbro's 1st and second attempt at Springer was a lot cheaper than the FP release but they didn't even compare. I think(hope) that is the case with this PE release. Hopefully it will be just as nice as Shadow Warrior was bc I love that little guy. Quality, rather than cost will be my biggest issue.

But Reflector's not high-priority for me. Not enough for me to buy this one from them. I hope you get him/enjoy him, but I'm sticking with Hasbro this time around.

Me too buddy. But to be honest, I'll probably get both lol I'll use Hasbro's as someone else. Or maybe a generic character.
