New Images of Ultimetal Series Non-Transforming Optimus Prime

Look very beautiful and all but I have to pass due to the large 17" in size especially with my limited of space. For my sake, I hope it doesn't it get repaint into Magnus cause I'm a sucker to that name/character

Even though it's just MP10 with his transformation nerfed, it still looks too awesome to pass up. The price tag and whether an equally detailed Megatron are what will make or break this for me.

Same here.

There hasn't been a good classics Megatron in years - one in this line of (regrettably non-transforming) figures wouldn't be the worst thing ever.

Is it me or does there seem to be a Dreamwave influence in this thing's design?

Yeah, I see a little bit myself, especially the roundness of the forearms.

Any estimates on price?

Considering it's size and electronic features I'd guess $300+.

I'm still a big fan of the first Masterpiece Prime but this looks great!

As a proud owner of MP-01 and MP-10, I dont see any point of spending hundreds of $ for this.

Still, I have to admit that this thing is wickedly awesome.

he should be able to PROPERLY hold the matrix and open it.

it's pretty cool.. i just have no interest in it.

MP01 and MP10 work great for me.

i do own DMK movie prime.. but that's different.. that was soo much fun putting together, i loved all of the detail, i would've preferred more of those. we need a megatron and starscream dammit. lol

That head sculpt is but what really does it for me is the arms. I like the curves But it's a pass. MP-10 is so much better, for the price. I would like to see this figure next to MP-10, just to get a sense of size. I'd hope it's about Leader.

Yup, looking at it now and all, it's definitely based on a more sensible version of Pat Lee's Stay Pupped Optimus, even the head looks DWish, and the arms are a dead giveaway, oh and the legs.

Still kinda cool though.

I don't have my MP easily accessible so I can't tell you how much taller this thing is but at 17 inches it's just 5 inches shy of the only Titan Class figure currently available which is Generations Metroplex.
I would absolutely love to have this bad-boy but I have a powerful need to eat and put gas in my car and paying a hundred or more bucks for a Transformer has a way of interfering with both of those activities.

Non-Transforming? Blasphemy! I will buy it anyways! So cool!
