I can answer that one. I've been to numerous shops since ROTF's Japanese launch and I've seen only one Soundwave. Not one store, but one individual Soundwave.
Except for Kiddy Land, which always has figures in stock (I suspect they use portal technology). They had several of every figure, even the can't-find-him-for-love-or-money Sideswipe.

Given that Bumblebee is clogging shelves here in Tokyo, I wonder if an exclusive Legends Mudflap will be enough to convince buyers?Blurrz wrote:That's a pretty sweet 2-pack they have there. The Legends figure would make up for the two Preview figures.. Bumblebee, everyone already has, and Soundwave, who everyone doesn't exactly like.
(Conversely, buyers may not be buying BB 'cos they're waiting for this set. Hmmm.)

That's because we got all of the Sideswipes Stateside and (at least in the Pacific NW) not near enough Soundwaves.
I'm with the rest of you guys on these. I like 'em. The Fallen seems a little...odd, I guess, in that size but he was kinda odd to begin with so it's not like I'll have to get used to anything new there. Mudflap is great in that size, more focus on the body style and his face is small enough to NOT have detail so that's a win.

I can vouch for T-Macksimus on that one, in the Seattle area, Fred Meyer, Toys R Us, and Target: none have any soundwave toys, well stocked on everything else (though some have Robot Replicas that others don't and visa versa) i ordered one off HTS.com recently with a few of the other available deluxes from wave 2 so i should see them shortly.

And I had no idea people were having trouble finding Soundwave, every Wal-mart in my area is loaded with him. The only other toy easier to find is the new Bumblebee, but that doesn't surprise me, he's rather crap this time around imho.

Covenant wrote:Is that Soundwave suppose to be the 'more G1 colored' version spoken of a bit ago? Looks pretty much the same as the RotF original colors.
No, the blue Soundwave will be part of a TRU exclusive box set, also containing a silver Voyager Megatron and a Voyager Fallen.
