Also, F**K YEA! This is what I've been asking for ever since I bought this thing!
This is bought on release.

In ROTF, Grindor captures Sam, Mikaela and Leo in a car and delivers them to Megatron and Scalpel. However, Strscream gets to them before Megatron does, and he uses the blade to split the car in two.
Nearly a blink and you miss it kinda deal. Seems a pointless add on
The thrusters on his back seem out of place, and should be closer to his spine iirc.
This seems to be a moneygrab worth passing.

Oh that was Starscream? I always thought it was Grindor who split the car in half.
Yea, the Thrusters are too far out, damn it. I hope they change the prototype before they start production.

I wonder if their will be a place for the boosters in alt. mode. I was hoping to suspend this guy in jet mode. A bot mode only upgrade will certainly not help. STILL, I am buying this.

I don't think so, it would also be unnecessary since the alt-mode has thrusters.

Yea they plug into those holes under his wings, but that's also where the missiles go in alt-mode, at least that's where I think they go, I lost mine.

Yeah, he also uses it to slice Optimus once during the extended IMAX version of the forest battle. As for the thrusters, my though was that maybe you could switch them around on opposite sides so that the thruster parts as opposed to the connection pegs are pointing inwards? Depends on if there's enough room for them to sit okay without the kibble causing them to pop off...
Pretty decent add-on though.

I hope that's the 1st of many upgrades and add-ons to movie toys. It is very disappointing to see the traditional 3rd-party companies releasing only G1/classics-related upgrades.
If this release is successful, I would like to see it followed by:
- New more articulated cannon-arm to ROTF Leader Megatron
(just a copy of the voyager cannon-arm already pleases me)
- New right arm (with hand and foldable seat) to HA Bumblebee.
- "Leader Class treatment" to ROTF Supreme Devastator, i.e. Leader class versions of Long Haul, Scrapper, High Tower and Rampage to give Devastator the bigger limbs he deserves.

I agree, it would be nice to see more add-ons and upgrades to movie toys. I would also really like someone to do a big upgrade to ROTF Leader Megatron. He needs two new arms, a new head, and something to make the tank mode look a little better. The first movie leader (premium series) was so accurate to his CGI model, it was really disappointing that the ROTF version was so off, especially for 50 bucks.

If they were more on display then I could see the point.
There is a nice round peg on his lower back that they could have been mounted to using a third mounting piece if they had wanted them closer to the middle of his back.
I do kind of like the idea of him having his engines on his back but as I said in most poses you wouldnt know they were there.

Well with some Gundams you have to like, transform them, then add an entire torso or a leg unit, so it's not as bad here.

Plus, you can flatten the tail wings, extend the main wings, and then atatch those (possibly missile firing) engines under the wings, so there's your stealth mode for leader starscream!
anyone else gonna try that?
I AM!
