Vector Prime is tempting. I recall the old one was pretty good.

And, even though it's accurate, something about all that gray and silver makes the robot head look unfinished in its paint deco.

Why does the legacy toyline already have more toyfigures in it then the Transformers prime toyline had, even though the prime toyline came with a succesfull tv-series, while legacy mostly seems to be a random assortement of figures without a specific medium to promote them?

Easy.
The "medias (with an S) to promote them" exist since at the very least 40 years. The toys are from G1, Prime, all the RiD, Beast Wars, IDW, Armada, and more.
Legacy is the ultimate love letter to the fans who love ALL of Transformers since they began.

Plus, Legacy isn't the media tie-in line, it's the mainline. Better comparisons would be Prime to Earthspark, and Legacy to Thrilling 30

It doesn't. Prime had over 110 figures in it's retail line (including Beast Hunters, excluding First Edition and exclusives) while Legacy is currently at 70-ish (excluding exclusives). 2024 will probably surpass Prime, though it may be a three wave line so they can do something new in 2025.

The head sculpt looks nice, and at least they gave him decent forelegs for the insect mode (though the partsforming rear legs are another disappointment). The original Bombshell's abdomen had always been sleeker and rounded, so it's jarring now to see it all boxy and angular. It looks like it's a mostly finished piece of work, so there's little hope that they'll fix him by making the back section rounder. If they were going to remold the entire upper half, why not remold the legs while they were at it, to help complete the make-over? I guess they were too busy making original molds for the Core Dinobots to devote much time to poor Bombshell.

Not necessarily. Only one Commander class toy has ever gotten a redeco, and that was only as a Shattered Glass toy.I_AM... MEGATRON! wrote:So if we're getting an Armada Galvatron repaint that means we're all but guaranteed to get a Powerlinx Prime repaint as well, right?

Also, I really hope they redo Armada Starscream in the future; the fact he's the only Legacy Armada without Mini-Con compatibility really stands out.
So, about the leaked listings:
- I hope UT Megatron ends up going through the same Megatron/Galvatron cycle from each series. And dear Primus, I don't even know if I'm being sarcastic or not!

- Guess the Rock Lord Weaponizers are practically confirmed. Now here's wondering if they're straight-up turn-into-rocks Rock Lords, or if they try to pull a twist in the alt-mode to make them more interesting (like, say, being regular Transformers with vehicle and/or beast modes but a golem-like design instead of regular metal robots, or Modulators with temple-like base modes). But, if I may suggest an out-of-left-field possibility:

I mean, they were originally meant to be rock beings, already have designed alt-modes, and even their names still reference rocks (lithos or stone -> Lithone, granite -> Granix -> Kranix, marble -> Marblus(?) -> Arblus).

I don't really know what I was expecting as they have pushed several listing the past few months, but I was wanting to get Breakdown to finally complete the Stunticons. Sure three months isn't al that bad but when you have other items you were also planning to get around that time form other lines it all adds up, and I don't like getting everything at once then having a severely long dry spell.
Plus what does that mean for the July, August shipments?

This is a pass for me, but thought I’d share.

Not the shade of blue I was imagining, but he still looks decent. I do like the Skyquake mould and have been looking forward to Dreadwing. I'll definitely buy one when he's out.
Also, I got a shipping notice for my Armada Megatron pre-order, I'll have him by the end of this week, and I'm really excited to get my hands on him!

It kinda reminds me of the Japanese toy's brighter blue.Munkky wrote:Sowndwave76 wrote:Found these images on Instagram this morning.
