So yesterday I got RiD Ratchet and Bisk with high hopes. and those hopes were not dashed in the slightest. Both are excellent figures, and here is why.
Bisk: this guy oozes character. the whole figure is very unique, with half the car forming monstrous arms and claws. And the funny thing is: no kibble! He has absolutely no kibble anywhere! he is tight yet bulked out. His claws are massive and wholly his alone. the little guns are almost unnecessary. and his face is a great match for the show and again, utterly unique. His transformation is fun, and his car mode is slick and stylized and really cool. He is another great Decepticon in the line!
Ratchet: now, this mold does suffer a bit from the whole shoulder part that limits movement, but it is very much made up for in the look and aesthetic of the guy. He looks like the show, yet looks like MTMTE Ratchet as well after his return from looking for Drift. He has big beefy legs and the dual pistols are awesome. His back kibble, I've found and like this way, can come together at a point on his back, so he has no wings and it looks like his medical "backpack" like in Prime. There is enough red and black to make the smaller number of paint apps not really an issue. The transformation is fun and differs a bit from Strongarm. And then his alt mode is massive! He is wider tha the CW guys I just bought and taller and longer! The alt mode is big!
I would recommend both figures. They are both well worth picking up as they are fun, cool looking, and both pack an interesting flavor that will leave anyone enjoying the dessert bar.
Thanks man! I'll probably grab both if I ever see them. I definitely need a Ratchet for my Lost Lighters. The lack of paint might be easily remedied because I've been going to town with the cheap paint markers I picked up from walmart recently. Very effective so far.
