I totally caved last night at Target and bought the set. It was the first Transformers purchase I've made since early March. I'm holding onto the receipt though to see what the overall feeling of the add-on kit is. If it's as good as it looks, I'll buy it and keep Superion.
Worst case scenario, it's a general disappointment and I return Superion to Target.

Im going to use one of those Binaltech upgrade swords with mind, providing it fits.

The only slighty bad point is the radar disk. Its built of four sections (that attach either side of feet) but does hold its disk shape well due to way its built, but seeing as i'm displaying on my desk at work in Superion mode thats not a major issue.
Over all very happy with this set and pleased I have dabbled in FansProjects work.

As a side not also received the Powered Commander set and that is uber cool as well...

Transformation in places is delicate but solid once built. The visor (of which there are two, one for universe version and one for superlinks version) adds a nice finishing touch.

Coool, I am literally starting to shake as I know both my Superion upgrade and DIA Commander sets are due to be with me very soon.

Well, I gotta dig up my BT upgrade kit from the "whatever bin", but I'm not sure if I should use the lightsaber and insert that into the gunbarrel like the pic or should I go for the gold Starsaber like the one poster did over at TFW...I'm leaning towards the lightsaber(assuming that it fits in the barrel).

The fists go inside the fastpacks on Silverbolt. Absolutely everything has a place in jet mode nothing is left on its own!

To be honest with you I thought I'd be ripped off too, the kit more than makes up for it.

No idea they look identical in shape and colour

karellan wrote:I'll never understand why the original toy included such crappy, crappy accessories. The manufacturers didn't need to go to the extent that FansProject did, but just making some damn HANDS would have been nice. Heck, even something that just looked a tiny bit LIKE hands would have been preferable to the sausage-like gun-things he comes with.
No one gets it.
No one has a damn clue why Superion got the 'r-tardedest hands and feet possible.
...or why they can't assemble the Stormjet mold correctly...
...or why they couldn't do a simple remold to make the Stormjet mold form the chest more securely...
but we can sure as hell dull the nosecones in case some kid, somewhere runs around flying his toy airplane so hard that he crashes into another child and the nosecone stabs the other kid to death (NO, I AM NOT MAKING THIS UP.)

I notice that the arm appendages hang off the bottom of the Air Razor and air raid.. How are the appendages attached.. Do they attach to the legs? I ask this because the joints on both of their legs in my set are very loose..I highly doubt I would be able to pose the arms up at all.. Just wondering..I really want to get this set but I don't want to waste the money and have floppy superion arms..
