And if anyone is wondering, the difference in Sideswipes is the size. One is 30.5 cm/12 inch with 4 points of articulation, and part of the Titan Heroes line we saw in box before. The other Sideswipe (and accompanying Steeljaw) is 17cm/6 inch with no aritculation and part of the Titan Guardians line. This is the first time we see images from that line.
The pictures have been mirrored below.

Should be "Shampoo Bottle" class

No "Class". It's just "Titan Heroes" and "Titan Guardians". If you want a Titan Class go look at Metroplex and Devastator

Haha, also there is a third line called Tiny Titans which goes along with these in that they are not articulated and simple action figures.
So three Titan lines.

To be fair, the Rescue Bots once at least tried to have some playability with their interactive compatibility with the human mini-figures able to fit inside their torso cockpits. They're the only ones of these kinds of TF toys that I bought because of that feature.Cobotron wrote:I think we can all agree these have no class.william-james88 wrote:Yeah guys, if anyone checks, the word class is no where to be found in the news post.

No articulation = INaction figures
That Bot wrote:I understand that the titans are cheap to produce and sell well in international markets.... but does anybody actually buy them in the US?
Dollar general?
Sorry, not loving this concept and would not buy these for my kids.
If they actually were a dollar or two (or filled with shampoo) I might be a little more interested.

Oh I wasn't including Rescue Bots in that joke. They have a specific and special job to do all on their own. Every time I pass one of those giant Primes in the clearance isles, I'm really tempted. I just want to fill him full of Micromans.Sabrblade wrote:To be fair, the Rescue Bots once at least tried to have some playability with their interactive compatibility with the human mini-figures able to fit inside their torso cockpits. What a waste of plastic that Hasbro SHOULD be using to make the generations figures more solid...

I just wish Hasbro wouldn't pump out so many of these things from their factories because, like I said, they clutter the shelves intended for actual "transforming" Transformers. They're just as bad as those AOE Power Attacker that cost more than the actual transforming AOE action figures and do nothing but have some sort of spring action attack. Lame! Or those sparking Dinobots with an Autobot rider. Double Lame! I think those were about $13 a pop and did nothing but encourage a kid to start fires.

Oh yeah, I did that all the time with my toys. I even peeled off all the chrome on purpose thinking it was some kind of packaging skin

Then make sure to let us know when you see stuff that hasnt been announced on the site yet. And you can even take a picture for our sightings. We would give you the credit for it.
And they have the 6 inch ones too? Do they have other characters?

I thought they were already announced here.
We got Bumblebee, Optimus, Stelljaw and Sideswipe, all in 6 inches.
For the Marvel line, we got Spiderman, Ironman, Hulk and Thor, in case someone´s curious.

Well, we only deal with Transformers news here, so the next time you go to the store, please take some photos of the transformer toys you see, especially those. And send them to news@seibertron.com.

This should speak volumes about how much these cost to produce. Probably about $.30 a unit.

These are an unnecessary, tremendous, and awful waste of resources that contribute to our planet’s pollution... at least with regular TF figures, those can provide years of enjoyment and brain exercises because of the transformations. These things are MASSIVE and a complete waste of oil and plastic (plastic being on the rise in cost, so it shouldn’t be wasted). As other people have mentioned, they should be sold for $2 filled with shampoo, not for $10 and that’s all you get. At least shampoo and then their bottles would serve a purpose.

Even when I was 5 I would have called bullshit on a Transformer that couldn't transform.

I'm sure the worlds landfills are filled with more empty shampoo bottles than these toys.MartianSpyGirl1996 wrote:These are an unnecessary, tremendous, and awful waste of resources that contribute to our planet’s pollution... at least with regular TF figures, those can provide years of enjoyment and brain exercises because of the transformations. If Hasbro didn't turn a profit from these crappy things, they wouldn't keep making them. My whole point is, If you don't like them, don't buy them. Our entire way of life is a tremendous, and awful waste of resources. That's why I prefer my petroleum products in the form of Warrior Class RID and Combiner Wars.

I can honestly and truly say that I don't care about how much Hasbro contributes to waste and pollution when I think about everything else wasteful that humanity (myself included) involves itself in. I seriously doubt the amount of waste generated by the manufacture of these toys is even in the top 100,000 wasteful actions committed by humans daily. I would say it is probably safe to say that wiping our butts with toilet paper has a far larger impact on resources and the environment. Let's wash, not wipe, people.

I always try to keep my boxes from larger figures (leader/voyager/etc), never the blister packaging from smaller ones (deluxe/warrior/etc).

Really don't think we need an Underbite in another size class.
But then doesnt he look too small facing any of the warrior class figures?

And isn't his articulation nearly non existent?
In general, I just look at the 1-Steps and long for more joints and a better set of paint apps and a bigger scale.
I think we NEED a Warrior-class Underbite (and, frankly, pretty much all of the Decepticons seen so far) and, well, Hasbro can't please everyone but this is one of the first times in years that a show has come along where I have been thoroughly enthralled by the aesthetics. Prime offered up some decent options, but very few I felt I had to own (in fact, while not entirely by my design, the only two Prime figures I have are a Cliffjumper and an Insecticon), the last time I felt so captivated by a series aesthetically was Animated and I bought everything I could get my hands on (and I still desperately wish to fill in the gaps in that line).

I sure hope that's First Edition Cliffjumper because that is a wonderful and unique transformer toy and deserves a place in a collection.
I totally agree with that, I like the aesthetic too. But I feel Underbite would be better for a Hyperchange class to tower a bit over the warrior class figures, as he does on the show.
Posted by NuclearConvoy on March 20th, 2015 @ 8:48am CDT
Also, I don't think it is first edition Cliffjumper as, while I loved the Dwayne Johnson voiced character, the toy I have is a bit underwhelming. I think that I had thought it was the first edition when I got it, but that was only because it was the first CJ from Prime I had found at retail (which, while I was living in Quebec, means that it easily could have been delayed a long time, retail shelves were horrible for my buying habits in Quebec).
I'm rambling a bit now...

Is the chest the actual car roof or is it fake kibble?
Real roof is FE. Faux kibble is RID.
