He can save the world, but can he master a British accent? Go behind the scenes with Optimus Prime on the set of #Transformers.
The Last Knight shatters the core myths of the Transformers franchise, and redefines what it means to be a hero. Humans and Transformers are at war, Optimus Prime is gone. The key to saving our future lies buried in the secrets of the past, in the hidden history of Transformers on Earth. Saving our world falls upon the shoulders of an unlikely alliance: Cade Yeager (Mark Wahlberg); Bumblebee; an English Lord (Sir Anthony Hopkins); and an Oxford Professor (Laura Haddock).
There comes a moment in everyone’s life when we are called upon to make a difference. In Transformers: The Last Knight, the hunted will become heroes. Heroes will become villains. Only one world will survive: theirs, or ours.
Transformers is coming to theatres June 21, 2017!
Directed by Michael Bay
Cast: Mark Wahlberg, Josh Duhamel, Anthony Hopkins, Laura Haddock, Isabella Moner, Stanley Tucci, John Turturro

Maybe that's the twist and they destroy Earth.

Indeed! Thank you Bay and the WRITERS who took a bunch of old characters and gave them a make over and made them interesting again!

That's my kind of hero. I've always loved how movie Optimus isn't afraid the threaten anyone to their face, and even live up to those threats afterwards.

I choose movie comedy over transformers cartoon and comic comedy any day at least movie comedy makes sense fits in places while cartoons and comics comedy are there for no reason at all to make series more colorful and kid friendly
Good clip in end of video good moment

Wait what?
I think we should go over the definition of heroic.
While I'm fine with the way Prime treats the Decepticons (Regardless of what anyone says facts are that they are still monsters who in most continuities start the wars for no good reason and are willing to slaughter anyone else their like the Empire or many real life monsters) this commercial is a bit odd in the threatening of an innocent person who's only teaching Prime British speech.
Although that women isn't exactly being patient or respectful with Optimus either so two wrongs do not make a right but obviously Prime would not actually do this on his own free will (Yes even movie Prime) and it's for humorous effect for a rather funny commercial.

No, what we need to go over is accepting the opinions of others if they differ from yours provided said opinion isn't causing any harm.
Sly thinks differently from everyone on this site. He's not a well adjusted little boy, so you're just wasting your breath trying to get him to conform to your way of thinking.

It was supposed to be a joke.
Because I don't think heroic is threatening other people and I'm not trying to get people to think my way I'm stating my own opinion which I thought I'm allowed to state on a "discussion" site.
Before you go all like "He's arguing again" well of course most people tend to talk back it's kinda what people do the difference is if their being civil or rude about it and I'm trying to be not rude but apparently my comments don't translate what I say.
I thought we weren't supposed to insult or make fun of other users even if they deserve it.

One great thing about Sly is he isn't a sensitive little flower and doesn't care when people say mean things to him because he says them right back.

Yes, I have not adjusted well to the MKUltra mind control that has been imposed on the rest of human society. You're absolutely right.

I really should realize this but I'm forgetful as well (You can tell me to do a job and I'll forget about it almost immediately sometimes) also my own fault to keep expecting people to forgive my outbursts.
I just hope that despite my "reputation" I can make people understand I'm not looking for fights or trying to make others see things my way.
Burn wrote:One great thing about Sly is he isn't a sensitive little flower and doesn't care when people say mean things to him because he says them right back.
I realize this about Sly (Came across his youtube channel while watching Mass Effect videos and proceeded to browse his channel...) I only brought this up because I thought it said stuff like that in the rules unless I'm misreading them.
And if the "sensitive little flower" thing is a jab at me (Not saying you definitely said this) yes I'm emotionally sensitive and there's nothing I can do about that since that's who I am.
Anyways enough about this drama the MTV awards is on and a never before seen TLK clip is supposed to come on at some point.

Yes watching the awards show is a waste of time if your only interested in the clip(s).
Also if you have good morals but that's my opinion
Someone's going to record the clip and put it online at some point today or tomorrow so it's just a slightly longer wait.

It's an awards show from a network that use to be all about music but is now more about reality shows. Not worth getting offended over.

The original scene was longer (Probably shorter for the clip) and Hot Rod did not speak in those scenes he was seen speaking in he sounds a little different as well also the tank bot has more hearable dialogue while in the imax event it was more like grunting and mumbling.
Until more high quality clip is posted here is one from a recording.

Yup in the imax preview Mark seemed very impatient to be there after pretty much being made to leave the others by Cogman and he actually says dude to Hopkins first which is why Hopkins says dude here.
Like I said this scene was condensed into this clip.

Well, I think it's suppose to be a movie you're suppose to sit back and enjoy more than anything.
It's not that hard to try and make it sense.
Planet was chosen to seed, a harvest was placed there due to its powerful sun, the allspark seeks out harvesters because they are connected. Megatron and sentinel were to meet there because Megatron knew there was a harvester there thanks to the Fallen being there at one point. They would meet up, use the harvester to recharge the allspark then use the space bridge to bring Cybertron there to rebuild it.
Yeah it's not what was intended but you can draw your own conclusions. John Barber sure did when he was tasked with writing the IDW comics and decided to fill holes and the allspark seeking out harvesters was a dropped plot element for ROTF

Can't tell if you're serious or not, but that's highly unlikely considering that Bayverse is utterly human-centric.Deadput wrote:Rodimus Prime wrote:Wow. What a huge spoiler that tweet is. Eh, it's entirely possible he'll die or just go away after a few movies and this will have been a weird little detour that won't really have shaped our perception of Hot Rod/Rodimus as a character archetype in the slightest and hence won't really be iconic. Happened with Wheeljack, right?
