I wonder if Skullcruncher will actually be in this long enough to warrant a new toy, or we'll just get Cyberverse Skullcruncher in in Earthspark packaging, ala Cyberverse Blurr.

I like how Thrash and Twitch's connection to the kids is reminiscent of Headmaster binary-bonding, relationships explored repeatedly in TF comics, but not so much in animation.

He is more red than pink,like the Knock out BH "Crock out" with a body like Dreadwing,another exemple of a face-chest is PRIME Rumble which i dislike the color scheme of,there's a japanese redeco,he comes out of a very simplistic car,that's funny.

Also, far out hope I know, but given that RiD2015 gave us a new take on Doublecross/Twinferno, and Cyberverse gave us the Repugnus, I want Grotusque in some capacity to show up in the toyline or show briefly here, giving us a complete set up 2010's/2020's Monsterbots

You read my mind! I'm thinking of getting a 2015 twinferno, and if earth spark d[esng giveus a grotesque, I was thinking of making one from movie legends grimlock.

One extra detail:he has a different symbol on him,the same as Bombshell,some theories:

-they are animalformers

-they are fugitifs

-an alliance with Meridian would not be captivating

maybe they are souless clones made by him but he is very close to Swindle

I'm guessing akullcruncher is just another decepticon, butvswindle may have other plans. I hope he has a good toy.

Always nice to see more Beastformers in the mix. And Skullcruncher's robot mode looks great. Here's hoping his alligator mode is good too.

Skullcruncher looks a little out of place. He looks very much like prime megatron if you squint.

Has anyone else noticed Skullcruncher seems to have a new insignia in his chest?

I wonder if that's a new faction spun off from renegade Decepticons, or related to Mandroid (far more likely, given the spider-like legs, in my opinion).

He might be something akin to Animated's reinterpretation of Headmaster.

Or its simply squad markings/rank. Optimus and Elita have similar new markings.

Who knows. My point was more that everyone was focusing on skullcruncher when others already had new symbols. Unless it's something truly important to the plot, I'm expecting something like squad markings or rank, and nothing more. For example that symbol might be the personal mark of whatever con is leading the squad that skullcruncher is in, and can easily be changed if he goes to serve under megatron directly.

I'd say the Mandroid connection is a strong possibility.

Subsequent series have really had a fetish for dividing the Transformers into more and more sub-factions.
