Arlin of the-Arker.com has let us know that he has new images of a new and very interesting Transformers Revenge of The Fallen toy.
The images are of a new Bumblebee which he claims is of the Voyager size class, judging by the amount of detail and the detailed interior of the alt mode he may certainly be telling the truth.
The set even comes with a Sam figurine, the name of the set is "Human Alliance".

Damn, how much money am I gonna be shelling out on this line. I am hoping that most of the retools are minor. I still have a lot of catch-up to finish before the movie line comes out. Is this Bumblebee version #48 for the movie lines?

Edit: Only problem is it looks like he may have a gun hand. I really hope that something is hidden by Sam sitting on his arm, but I somehow doubt it. Curse you Hasbro and your gun hand.

Upper body looks a little large proportionally to the rest of the figure. Also, I love how they just decided to use the '07 toy's head mold design instead of a more movie-accurate one. Leftover, unmarketed toy from the first line perhaps?

Also, is that new design Megatron on the box diorama? Maybe he is in the movie after all... DARN YOU MICHAEL BAY AND YOUR MISINFORMATION CAMPAIGN

I have sworn on my DVD set of TRANSFORMERS that I would spend not one Aus Dollar (US, 'bout 55c right now) on the movie line.
This figure may force me to break that vow...

Very interesting... but for some reason I'm having mixed feeling about this one. I'm kinda biased towards my movie deluxe BB.

I hope Takara-Tomy makes a Binaltech version of this! It looks great.

The face when the battle mask is lifted (small picture) is similar to the original face of the deluxe version, and not the remolded more movie accurate version. I hope I'm wrong about this.

It does look like it...

I'm very curious to see how they managed to get all the robot parts inside the car with space to sit when they didn't do it with the delux or ultimate.

Looks like the repainted a Mutt Williams figure. If this Bumblebee is the size of an Alternator with a similar transformation and such i will buy it, just so i can finally have a Bumblebee in that line0up. If Hasbro really wants to make human figures they should make them the size of M.A.S.K. figures.

Word.

Maybe if Bay focused on telling a good story instead of putting so much energy into his juvenile 'misinformation campaign' bullsh*t then we'd have a solid TF movie for a change.

So he lied to the fans for a few months about the movie -- big accomplishment.

I guess that means we should be expecting a big 'ta-da!' moment after the movie premieres where he points his finger at us and goes, 'Ha-ha! Owned!'

He sure showed us alright...

That is awesome. I am so buying that. I'll make him my "outside the norm" figure for the movie, like Ultimate Bumblebee was for the last one. (you know, doesn't fit in with the rest, but it has a place in your collection type of deal.)

I'll stick to the original Bumblebee I have from the first film to fill the role for this toy line. A very slight remold and even slighter repaint just ain't gonna cut it for me.

I just noticed, the box says human allies, not ally, but plural. I'm guessing we're getting a Mikaela figure as well. I wonder if she'll be in a box set with the Arcee bike trio... It's possible, isn't it?

Believe.

The misinformation campaign has only served to confuse and alienate fans. It has definitely damaged my levels of excitement for the film this time round.
So what if we know what characters are in it? We're all going to watch it anyway.

I do like this toy though. I wonder if they'll release an Ironhide version with military figures.

He did. It's called

rwalsh17 wrote:'misinformation campaign'

and it was put on wide release round the 'net a few months back.

Aside from that... I want that toy. I love the BB design in general, anyway, and an Alternator / Alternity-ish one would be cool, I think.

Posted by Bed Bugs on January 24th, 2009 @ 7:12am CST
I will admit that's pretty cool, but I'm worried how far this will go.

Are we going to have a completely new size class that upgrades each character to the next larger size to fit these human toys in?

I mean, could we be seeing Ultra Ironhide and Ratchet released with mini Josh Duhamel's and Megan Foxx's?

How about a $100 Optimus Prime that's the size of G1 Fort Max?

Re: New ROTF Alternator styled Bumblebee toy! (872722)

This is an easy pass for me because I don't own a movie Bumblebee because that face on him makes me throw up a little each time I see him. I almost got the Ultimate Bumblebee but came to my senses at the last moment. The Ultimate is the only one I have to worry about. If they make his face look a few steps closer to proper i'm gonna be 100 bucks poorer. As for the little Sam figure I just don't see the point of it. Looks like a cheaply made oversized Lego.

As much as I liked the first film, and I'm sure I will enjoy the new one just as much, I gotta agree. His lame "misinformation campaign" has been a huge pile of fail from the start. The only thing it succeeds in is making him look like a bigger douche bag than he already is.

As for BB, meh. It's cool and all, but I already got a dlx. BB, so I'm set. That, and I can't bring myself to spend money on a toy with Shia LaBoufe's likeness.

On a side note, someone should change the story's wording on the front page. It states that this is the first time a Sam character toy was made, not so. The dlx. BB/Barricade diorama set had a Sam figurine along with Mikaela and non TFing Frenzy.

I wonder what the exact scale is. i hope its near to 1:24. This is the figure they should have released with the first movie.

I really like this one. Perhaps i do have too many Bumblebees, but this one has a sliding mask, a cannon hand, and room to seat. Nothing can be more awesome. Unless he talked and walked by itself.

Woah, wait a sec! Is that a completely new Bumblebee figure mold? It looks kind of like the previous BB figures in vehicle mode, but the robot mode has a deifferent design. Just look at the legs!

And can I say that this almost like a U.S. version of Kiss Pl- er, BinalTech Asterisk. Whew! Glad I changed that before getting out the last few letters.

This looks pretty cool.

Depending on how detailed the interior is, and how many other human figures are made, I may pick it up. The robot mode looks a little unproportional but the Alt mode looks really good.
Re: New ROTF Alternator styled Bumblebee toy! (872917)

Well, I sold my last movie Bumblebee because it was crap and was completely inaccurate to the movie. Plus it was flawed. Then, I saw they were remolding it and was sold on the nice new movie accuracy for ROTF. Now I see this and I can forget how lame Bumblebee is from the movie and realise this is the most movie-accurate Bumblebee ever and I should start worshipping this set (okay, not quite but almost). This thing looks purely brilliant and with the Sam figure that can sit in the driver's seat, I'm sold. This thing is perfect. And who cares if the proportions are wrong? The managed to make him look movie-accurate with the battle mask that slides down and Sam can sit in the driver's seat! PERFECTION!

I agree with the previous posts about this being brilliant and perfect. I've liked every new mold and repaint of the new movie line. My wife is gonna hate me for buying AGAIN all of the robot cast from this movie and not just the new ones... and I'm still waiting for animated Shockwave, Sentinel Prime, Swoop, Skywarp, Ultra Magnus, Wreck Gar, Swindle, Jetfire+Jetstorm and Waspinator to be available in Mexico... the wallet is already scared. :P

Off topic, but: wow, is Mexico's TF distribution that far behind? I'd kinda assumed with you being next door to the USA that you'd have pretty much the same distribution. Then again, Canada gets stuff before and after the US. 8-}

Simple;
Design to toy $$ ratio
Out of All (Toy)designs 98% made their way to being made(more or less), thats almost 98% percent division of $$.
This time they're re-using a good hand full of molds from the 1st movie, so the same amount of $$ can go to more and different/better designs.

Oops. The windshield sticks down too far below his back, just like Universe Galvatron's kibble "skirt/diaper". I didn't notice that flaw until 5 minutes before posting this.

The deluxe's robot mode is still better.

Y'know, that "additional figures sold separately" makes me think we might see "human packs" for the film. Mikaela & Sam... Lennox & Epps... soldiers... Sam & Simmons... maybe even a pack with a "Frenzy" or "Ravage" in it.

It also makes for interesting speculation on what could be further toys in this scale, with human partners... Ironhide w/ Lennox? Longarm w/ Mikaela? Barricade w/ Holographic Cop?

Maybe the additional humans will be packed with the Arcee drones? One Arcee "rider" to human ration, packed alongside the bike (totaling 3 figures, 2 "humans" one Bike)

wow this is kewl. it took forever but they finally did it and made human mini figures? what scale would the human figures be in? If there around 2 inches that would be great cause they would then kinda be in scale with the other figures. Why didnt they do this with the alternators line also? Or a gijoe transformers line with ini figures like this ? overall great idea with the human figures.
