A member of AcToys.net has posted new images of the upcoming Transformers Universe Ultras Darkwind and Autobot Countdown.
These images confirm the rumour of them being store exclusives as they both have a "only at ToysRus" sticker.

Darkwind turned out pretty awesome-lookin'.
Though I admit that's a pretty versatile mold for repaints.
Countdown... eh... not so much. Looks like a bunch of building blocks somewhat.

I might have to grab Countdown, because the 'micromasters as normal TFs' Classics/Universe has going amuses me. And the recolor, much like Dropshot and Roadbuster, looks better than the original Cybertron figures to me.

I think I'll get the Silverbolt repaint. I passed on Silverbolt and this repaint is fairly nice. I'm trying to mostly stick to Decepticons these days in an attempt to cut back; I'm just totally running out of room and I prefer the look of the Decepticons anyway.

Darkwing is good but I would have preffered they repainted red alert as DoubleDealer

Darkwind is nice in bot mode but I don't have Dreadwing so I may not get him.

Well, New Zealand usually gets some Toys 'R' Us exclusives into Toy World (both of whom are probably linked) so I might have a chance of getting these cheap but either way, they're mine. But Darkwind? What kind of retards work at Hasbro?
Darkwing and Dreadwind combine to form Dreadwing. Darkwind is nobody. Botcon Darkwing... This should have been Dreadwind. I could understand if it was copyright but... wtf........ As this is clearly Darkwing, I'm not sure how calling it Dreadwing would have been an improvement on Darkwind. "Look, there's Dreadwing and Dreadwind!"
