This past weekend at New York Toy Fair 2025, Hasbro officially unveiled the latest additions to the Transformers: Age of the Primes toyline — and fans can already secure their pre-orders! This exciting new lineup brings together characters from across Transformers history while expanding on the mythos of The Thirteen, the legendary first Cybertronians who shaped the fate of their world. Let's dive into the full details on these new releases.
Wreck 'N Doom Collection: Fisitron & Carnivac 2-Pack
Revealed during Hasbro's Toy Fair presentation, the Wreck 'N Doom Collection delivers a surprising team-up between two fan-favorite characters — the Autobot Fisitron (better known to some as Ironfist) and the Decepticon beast warrior Carnivac. This 2-pack celebrates the long-running Wreckers and Mayhem Attack Squad rivalry, bringing both characters into the modern Generations ecosystem.
Fisitron transforms from robot to off-road vehicle in 15 steps, while Carnivac shifts from robot to wolf in 18 steps — and Carnivac even includes a transforming Headmaster-style Survivor figure! Both characters feature blaster accessories and full articulation for dynamic posing.
Price: $49.99
Pre-order: Available exclusively on Amazon, with limited stock on Hasbro Pulse
Release Date: Fall 2025
Deluxe Class Alchemist Prime
One of the legendary Thirteen Primes finally arrives in plastic form! Alchemist Prime is one of the ancient architects of Cybertron's destiny, and now fans can add him to their collections as a fully articulated Deluxe Class figure.
Alchemist Prime transforms from robot to a Cybertronian armored car in 17 steps and comes equipped with his signature Lenses Artifact, which splits into two pieces. This figure brings one of Cybertron's mythic founders to life, perfect for building out your Age of the Primes display.
Price: $24.99

Making a high-speed entrance into the Age of the Primes line, Decepticon Crasher continues her transformation from Gobots icon to full-fledged Transformers character. Crasher converts from robot to sleek sports car in 18 steps and comes with two blaster accessories that work in both modes.
Crasher's appearance at Toy Fair was a standout surprise, continuing her growing presence in the Generations line. Whether you know her from her Gobots roots or her more recent Decepticon lore, she's ready to race into your collection.

The CW version of Bruticus was OK, but in the end it was really just remolds of the Protectobots. And that's not good enough in the end - the Combaticons and Bruticus need original molds/figures.
Here's hoping they don't do to Brawl what they did in CW, with that horrible floppy waist/hinge....

Hopefully the rest of them aren't as difficult to get ahold of as the Stunticons. Still looking for a Dead End for mine.
Also, hopefully Blastoff is a shuttle from the get go, instead of getting a jet mode and then a super limited exclusive shuttle version down the road like CW.

The people who made that call back then are no longer in charge (or possibly even employed) at Hasbro anymore.Overcracker wrote:Also, hopefully Blastoff is a shuttle from the get go, instead of getting a jet mode and then a super limited exclusive shuttle version down the road like CW.

Not to revel on some guys' loss of employment, but that may be a good thing.

The decision was made as we learned later, due to CW being on such a strict budget. That's why most of the Voyagers were a retool of Silverbolt and there were really only 4 unique limb molds.

One of my local Walmarts still has three pegs full of Bee movie Arcee! Still at full price! Like they haven't even been trying to give these shelves some TLC and clearance this stuff out!

We already know from Vortex's box that he'll be a shuttle.

Every time this gets a new official mention, I get my hopes up for this design being redecoed mostly mint green with a little white for a wide release. That'll probably happen when I finally get around to repainting the one that's been on my workbench almost 2 decades.william-james88 wrote:Sideways – The mysterious descendent of Liege Maximo

Leige Maximo makes so much sense for Sideways
Also, its so weird seeing Excellion referred to as a legend of Cybertron feels so bizarre given that the character never appeared in the cartoon or its comics, and his only appearance in any media is a text-only story from Timelines

It might be a subtle wink to the old "Legends of Cybertron" Hot Shot toy, specifically the red version that used Excellion's deco but was inexplicably still named "Hot Shot" instead, as though referring to him as such now is trying to make up for that little goof and finally give him his due respect.#1 Signal Lancer fan wrote:william-james88 wrote:Sideways – The mysterious descendent of Liege Maximo

It's this line of thinking right here that led to Combiner Wars Blast Off initially being released as a jet instead of a shuttle.Till-all-R1 wrote:Going to be interesting once again to see Astrotrain and Blastoff displayed next to each other both being shuttles yet different sizes. lol

Scale is out the window with the Combaticons anyway.
Even if they make Blast Off a Jet, it's still widely out of scale with a Tank, a Jeep and a Helicopter regardless.
Just let him be a totally off scale Shuttle and we'll be fine.

Whoa, that's a deep reference.
You're likely right, though, as I think that's too specific to be coincidental.

Same! I'm comparing him to my GF original, and there are very minute differences I'm really spotting now. Interesting that in the stock photos the backpack is kept up.

Slingshot is awesome. I have only two complaints: he cannot look up at all and his heels/back of foot. Another hinge was needed or something, but I know, blah blah, not in the budget. Otherwise perfect, looks like he jumped off the screen.
Waspinator was my first time handling this mould as I didn't like Animated Bee enough to buy and was waiting on Wasp. Very glad I did, as he is amazing. This small of a figure has wrist swivels and the rest of the articulation all over that deluxe scale and up should, but importantly he can look all the way up, wonderful.

Now I have completed my G1 headcannon Scavengers

Megatronus the Fallen
One of the original Thirteen Primes, Megatronus is a dark and powerful figure who eventually becomes The Fallen. He is known for his betrayal and for killing Solus Prime, an act that led to his exile. This figure captures his menacing look and transforms into a Cybertronian tank.
G2 Universe Grimlock & Autobot Wheelie
This Leader Class release features Grimlock in his Generation 2 blue and gold color scheme, a throwback to the 1990s toy line. He transforms into a robotic Tyrannosaurus rex and includes a small, non-transforming Autobot Wheelie figure that can ride on his back.
G2 Grimlock does not have a full video review at the moment
Prima Prime
The first Transformer created by Primus, Prima is the Warrior of Light and the original wielder of the Matrix of Leadership. This figure represents him as a heroic and noble character with a design that emphasizes his mythic origins.
Red Alert (Armada Universe)
Based on the character from Transformers: Armada, this figure modernizes Red Alert’s design while keeping his emergency rescue vehicle alt mode. He features sculpted details inspired by his original incarnation and is a treat for Unicron Trilogy fans.
Solus Prime
The Prime of Creation, Solus Prime is revered for her ability to forge weapons and artifacts used by the other Primes. This figure includes a stylized forge hammer and a sleek, powerful look that reflects her important role in Cybertronian mythology.
Air Raid
A member of the Aerialbots, Air Raid transforms into a jet and is known for his brash, reckless flying style. This figure captures his G1-inspired colors and simplified design suitable for younger fans or collectors looking to complete their Aerialbot team.
Slingshot
Another core member of the Aerialbots, Slingshot transforms into a jet and is known for his arrogant and loud personality. This version stays close to his G1 roots and complements the rest of the team for a potential combiner display.
Wasp (Animated)
Before he became Waspinator, Wasp was a cadet in the Autobot Academy in Transformers: Animated. He was falsely accused of being a Decepticon spy by Bumblebee and imprisoned, which began his path toward madness. This figure represents him in his pre-Waspinator form, with a unique green and black color scheme and a stylized alt mode.

And only because the 13 don't really interest me that much, I only like a few of the designs so probably won't get them all anyway. If not for getting a rebate on said purchase I would have waited for a sale on Amazon or something for this particular character.
My most anticipated figure as of now would have to either be Silverbolt or Air Raid.

I don't care about the official label.
It's the size of a deluxe, the weigh of a deluxe, and the parts count of a deluxe.
By classic CHUG and Unicron Trilogy standards, of course.
