IceMagnus over at TFW2005 ran into a new Walmart exclusive Live action Transformers films box set. The collection includes all four Micheal Bay-produced movies on blu-ray, a digital download code, and a legion class toy! Strangely enough, this toy is actually a repackaged Transformers Prime Cyberverse figure! Not a remake, or a redeco, just straight new old stock. The two confirmed variants out there are one with Bumblebee and one with Prowl, although there are rumors of versions featuring Soundwave and Optimus Prime out there.

I figure it's just they don't want to spend a lot on making new legions, and Cyberverse is both the most recent set of molds and the best match for the movie aesthetic.

Not to mention free from any kind of licensing

From the looks of it the figures are pooled from the first two waves of Prime: Beast Hunters. Shame, I wanted to have a chance at Bluestreak, Divebomb, Rot Gut and Ace Vehicon.

You've peaked my interest. Well, that is if they go on sale for under $10 so I don't have to get Ravenspar for this mold.

Not that I'd have gotten it anyway. Judging by the cover this is the same set (maybe in different packaging but the "art" is the same) Sam's was selling around Christmas time the year AOE came out and my mom gave me that set (and I still haven't gotten around to watching any of them again, since I already saw them).
The only fancy displays I saw in movies was for Lego Batman. Some sort of lunch box comes with the movie.

I said I found the set with Soundwave a week ago. I guess my word means nothing.D-Maximus_Prime wrote:Remember back when we had that sighting of the new Transformers Live Action Movie Box Set, and the sets definitely included a repainted Prime Legends Bee and Prowl, with a rumored Soundwave and Prime? Well, while we still cannot confirm the Prime sighting, thanks to your truly, we have proof of the Soundwave variant existing! The set includes the 4 movies on Blu-Ray, a download code, and the figure, and can be found for $25.96. Head on out and check them out, and don't forget that the new movie hits big screens now!

I'm sorry, I wasn't in this thread so I hadn't read your find

OK, my statement may have come off a bit harsh. I meant it to be sarcastic, not totally douche-y. Apologies. But I did find the set with Soundwave on Tuesday the 13th.D-Maximus_Prime wrote:Rodimus Prime wrote:I said I found the set with Soundwave a week ago. I guess my word means nothing.

Could've sworn I just saw some documentary the other day about it's downfall thanks to Napster and other online audio sources.
