Just when we though that the Transformers Titanium series was over, the ever resourceful
s250 brings us images from
ACToys that prove that that thought is incorrect.
If s250 is correct, there will be at least two new releases. Seen here is
Hot Zone (G1 Hot Spot) and
Thrust which is a repaint of the War Within Seeker mold. Also pictured is
War Within Optimus Prime, which appears to be the same figure in new packaging.
These will be Target exclusives. See all the pictures
here

No, that's a repaint too.

Eh, they look nifty, but I don't care much for the "diecast for the sake of diecast" nature of the Titanium line. It tends to make then overly heavy and unposeable... like the bricks of G1. Don't get me wrong, G1 was cool... but I just prefer toys with articulation, now.
Reluctant pass.

I'm liking that aborted exclusive reference.

OTFCC Defensor!!!!!!!
There's a repaint that came out of left field. I need it.
WWI prime doesn't look that bad. Seems like a movie inspired repaint, but I prefer the original deco.

I would be great if they combined die cast and articulation. Like a titanium/classics line.
I hope they do more Titaniums.

Yeah, I don't know why but that's what I thought when I saw it. I think it's the blue shoulders and thighs. Surprised they didn't put flames on it.
Really liking Hot Spot, but he'd be so small...
Wonder what these'll retail for now that Deluxes are $13 at Target and Wal-Mart (though still $10 at TRU, go figure)?

Hopefully with these we'll see some of the old "Hard to find" previous released molds, and maybe some of the un-produced ones?
WW Grimlock (maybe in similar MP Grim colors?)
WW Prowl (Jazz?)
Ultra Magnus (just because I never found him)
and the never made molds..
Shockwave
Cosmos
Arcee (especially if she sells well in Ani and the Movie)

Hot Spot looks like a repaint of the R.I.D Optimus Prime figure, not a remould.

Hot Spot doesn't look bad...Would rather have the original WW Prime than this repaint...But I'm really not crazy about Titaniums anyway...

Target yet again! They'll be getting a lot of my business when I'm there
I'll be getting me Hot Zone and Prime for starters and see if I like them. Hot Spot was my first combiner part and very first regular figure so he holds a special place in my heart. And Prime just looks good in more blue. Hopefully he won't have loose joints like his first release.

Loving the Hotspot Repaint.
And being one of the molds I missed, I'm going to try to pick him up.
Thrust looks pretty cool, And the mold is one of the more solid ones in the line.
Prime, already have the original mold, and don;t need another one.
But still this is great knew, we might just get the un-produced molds out of this.
And a couple of other repaints too.
Like Primal Prime repaint for Optimal Optimus.
I can see a Purple repaint of WWI Megatron into WWI Galvatron.

If this means there's a chance to get that Shockwave and Cosmos we saw prototypes of, then I'm all for Titanium making a comeback. But I have to admit, while I have a couple Titaniums, each figure is a mixed bag, some being stronger than others. Arcee not so much; I'd rather just stick with my Energon Arcee or treat Animated like she's G1.
As for these "new" figures ... none of them interest me. Well, the "Defensor" repaint does a bit, but with that head he's too "Prime" to fit. Same goes for Thrust. Given the nature of the mold, he could easily have been a conehead.

I have no interest in the WW Prime repaint, but the other 2 are a must have for me!

Awesome but if they're over $20 like Prowl and Grimlock were then i wont be getting these either. Now if they're $15 like they should be then they will be mine. If they do indeed come out.

Ill get Thrust, but I wish they would just have made him plastic instead of Titanium to go with the Target exclusives Dirge I recently picked up. No matter what series, Hasbro does not seem to care about relesing a complete line of seekers for retail...

I love the Titanium line because of the die cast. I will pick up Hot Spot, and Prime. Hopefully they won't be over 20 bucks like the Grimlock and Jazz. If they were a little bigger, I could see that price point.

Yeah I'll probably grab Thrust at some point, the Hotspot repaint is nice but that mold is poor - Can they give that treatment to the CR Fire Convoy mold already?
It would be cool it they did the Ti G1 Magnus in Diaclone Powered Convoy colours, am I right?
