Both come from the highly sought after Reveal The Shield Windcharger mold. Rather difficult to find here, in the States, this figure remains elusive for many. Now, TakaraTomy have released a box set of Windcharger and Wipe-Out. Is it worth your money to import? You can check out our galleries and decide for yourself.
Full galleries of both versions of this rare mold can be found in the links provided below.
We hope you enjoy!

Love the set, though; funny, even the illustrations on the box call-back to Wipe-Out's sole weapon being a grease gun, LOL.

Ryan, which Windcharger is better in your opinion? I am curious if the Takara version of Windcharger has translucent plastic like the Hasbro version.

I was unaware of any translucent plastic on the Hasbro version. Please explain, as I'd previously been told that aside from a rather slight colour difference, and the Hasbro version's rubsign, they were nearly identical. Takara's has none, and if Hasbro's does, I'm gonna have to hunt one down!

Nope, no translucent plastic whatsoever. The solid red plastic does let some light though, but that's it.

As far as Windcharger goes, I think it just comes down to personal preference. Do you want a rubsign or a tampo'ed Autobot symbol?

The rubsign on mine was put on crooked.
So there's that to consider too. Most of my RTS have crooked, imperfect rubsigns.

If you poor a little lighter fluid on it, enough so that it starts to get under the rub sign, you should be able to straighten out the rub sign without removing it. I've fixed many rubsigns over the last couple of years by doing this, on both new and vintage figures.

Thanks. I may give it a shot.
