All the rest of it was in one piece and all the bells, lights and irritating sounds work like brand new. It was just lying on the floor, unlabeled, so I asked an employee about it and she returned with a sticker 2 minutes later.
Broke as I am I would have been a damn fool to just leave it where some kid could pick it up and do whatever. I felt it my duty to bring Prime to a good home.
Kinda makes my last few purchases seem pale. I picked up Legends Warpath and Wheelie and a pair of Transformers finger boards at the Everett Wal-Mart this last week. The finger boards had the pics of Dreamwave versions Optimus and Megatron on top of their respective faction symbols with the white background.
And as far as Wheelie goes, I needed him for artistic reasons. I plan to do a highly stylized drawing of him. Something less "tease worthy", think Wheelie on steroids. Something worthy of a Deluxe class figure.
Warpath, he's just plain cool. Especially in his bot mode. Big improvement over the original although he doesn't have that old school, sturdy feel to him.

Anybody know how to transform this damn thing? Prime was a cinch compared to this guy!
Never mind, I'll hand it off to my 9 year old tomorrow. His capacity for figuring Transformers out without the instructions is mind-blowing.

If anyone in Washington is near a Target selling the Sunstorm/Shockwave exclusives for $4.99, and will be attending Sakura-Con in Seattle next week-end, I'm looking to see if anyone can pick up a set for me. As I will be taking Grayhound from Vancouver to Seattle and Back I just won't be able to get to a Target.
Please PM me if you think you can help, and as I said in the other thread I'm willing to pay $20 for both of them, so you'll make ten bucks off of it.

Ok, ok, settle down. I know I've been gone a long time and you all miss me. It's cool.
No, really, it got alittle dead here so I started posting over at TFW2005.com, sometime in the middle of last year. Long story short, after a pretty decent run there, I got banned for questioning a Mod on a bad call he made. I never got an explanation other than "Banned for questioning a moderator/administrator".
So, I guess I'll just post my TF sightings stuff here. Here's what's happened lately:
I'm sure you guys know most area Targets are pretty bare right now, nothing in TFA or TFU. Lots of Muggs found at most Targets, though. Some are running clearances of 15% off on older TF stuff.
Lynnwood TRU: The usual pegwarmers. There are two sets of the current TFU exclusives - Countdown and the other guy.
Area Fred Meyers stores are sometimes breaking street dates on the ROTF stuff. I've actually found four sets of the ROTF Leader figures at the Redmond Fred Meyers (don't bother going, they were all gone last week when I tipped off another TF collector).
That's all I got for now. I'm probably not doing too much of the ROTF stuff, but will post when I find anything useful.

On a sighting note, not a damn thing new in Puyallup today at Target or Walmart.

I second that...man, talk about a bunch of freaking nazi's. They sent me a cease and desist order via PM when I posted a thread about your banishment. Anyways, looks like I'll be posting here more often.

Dudes, thank you for the kind words.
Furious, I'm sorry you got a "cease" thing just for talking about me. Man, I most be some kinda badass - look out, that Cyberjet guy is crazy! We can't even talk about him.
Basically, one TFW2005 Mod had slammed a TFW2005 Photo Staff guy. Then when I politely question the Mod that did the slamming, because I thought the Photo Staff guy had a good point, I get banned. It just goes to show how tightly wound up those guys are. First it was a week suspension and then I found out my IP address was banned. I sent them a couple messages asking what happened, with my email addy and everything and no one ever replied.
Posted by FuRiOus_StyLeZ on May 14th, 2009 @ 7:30pm CDT
Anyways, on a sighting note...not much out in the stores, absolutely nothing really worth mentioning in the south end. Target is finally getting the lastest wave of TFA animated (Waspinator/Samurai Prowl). I did happen to see jimmy and bombatron's ROTF loot yesterday. Those guys will have nothing to buy come May 30th...
oh yeah..I've been so bored with TF lately that I started collecting Marvel Universe figures. Anyone here got an extra grey hulk or bullseye?
Posted by jimmerz41 on May 14th, 2009 @ 7:34pm CDT
the mods at tfw are messed up if i see one at botcon im going to take him to the back and him a can of cyberjet whoop@$$
Posted by Cyberjet #7 on May 14th, 2009 @ 7:36pm CDT
As for MU, I've been hunting those for awhile. I haven't seen a Bullseye since I last got mine. I do know that Redmond Comic Stop had a Grey Hulk for $11.99. That was a couple weeks back, so you might want to call and confirm.
Well, we still have tomorrow for sightings - supposedly the ROFT preview figures will drop on Friday. It'll be fun to see how many stores goof and put out other ROTF figures at that time. You know stock people can't read street dates...

Otherwise Kirkland, Lynnwood, Mill Creek, Bothell, and Monroe Freddies don't have anything out of the ordinary. I hit them all in the last week and a half.

Cyberjet #7 wrote:If Jose tried as hard as the previous owner, he might be doing better. All he ever seems to stock is the larger items like MP. I know recently he got some newer Henkei and Encore, but he's alittle late there. The previous owner had all kinds of Japanese TFs - there was a whole wall devoted to TFs, now it's just a small corner.
I won't be out hunting tomorrow till later in the afternoon.
totally...I don't he's even really keeping stuff in stock. When I picked up my Masterpiece Grimlock from him. He didn't have any left. Plus Sui Wai was way more knowledge about toys and was way better about what he ordered. He always met all his preorders and had extra stock left over to last a few weeks. He's got himself quite a collection too. I bought a bunch of his vintage super robot stuff. That reminds me..I better call that guy.
I'm gonna start picking up my henkei stuff at Palace Gifts, the prices are pretty much the same but he's got everything in stock. I think the only ones he didn't have were Skywarp at the mini-bots. He also just got in the Alternity line...pretty sweet but just outta my price range right now.

Ummm... ok. Crawl back up to Canada, if me coming back to this board makes you so sad.
In sightings today.
Woodinville Target: Has some TFs on clearance:
TFU Ultras (just Silverbolt and Onslaught left): $20.49
TFA Leaders (just Bulkhead left): $30.49
TF Might Muggs (just Prime, BB, and Grimy left): $7.49
TFA Battle Bumpers (lots): I can't remember, but they did have a sticker
TFA Shocky/BB and Sunstorm/Ratchet packs: $17.99
Everything else was still regular price. This does match up with other reports I've read about Target's clearancing stuff for the ROTF space. Good price on those Muggs. Someone from TFW2005, please mention this to Kusanagi, as I remember he was looking for a few Muggs.

Uh Dude, you read that wrong. By sad I meant that the whole deal with them banning you for, from what I can tell, stupid reasons.
The main reason I stick to this site is because I don't see mods pulling jackass moves like that, so good to see you back.

In sightings news nothing to note of at Everett Target and Toys R Us. Everett Target did stock up on MU figures, but nothing really special. I do like the darker spider-man and torch though...
Not a transformers sighting but I did notice the NBA all star vinyls are out. I may get into these...if anyone spots LeBron, could they give me a heads up? I have Kobe and KG...now I need to get Bron to complete the set.
Should be out hunting tomorrow.

I too fell victim to the nazism-ish ways over at tfw2005. They banned my ip for questioning a mod.
I'm from ohio but it feel its relevant. About 6-8 months ago the tfw ppl had created a spot on their forum i believe called the toyark where users were to post any toy sightings unrelated to tf'ers. The sightings forums in some states were being filled up with more then tf'er sightings. We had a user in ohio that was constantly posting tons of pictures of power ranger stuff. I asked him nicely to stop and to put the pictures in the toyark were they were supposed to go. Of course all hell broke loose cause i'm the new guy and he's a vet. So i took it up with the mods. They actually told him to stop in a public post. So of course all the past members there got all pist off and raised a fuss about me and that there were never any problems before i came. I made a post back that stated my case that they shouldn't have created the toyark if they're not gonna enforce it. I got banned for trolling they said. I emailed many times trying to explain myself but never got a response. Botcon was in cincy last year wish it was there this year cause i'd approach the mother f**ckers on some grown man shit.
peace

amjskateshop - I've come to the conclusion that TFW2005 hates people from Ohio; as that's where I used to live.
The truth is, I don't see as much negative stuff from the Mods here. ACSS is actually in WA and he's pretty cool.

I am bothered a bit if Kicks isn't doing well, because the few times I went there it seemed like a decent store, but beyond that my only complain about Washington is that I can't go down and check up on stuff more often these days. The few times recently I've gone to Bellingham, has been when almost nothing is on the shelves. But at least I can see friends at the same time.
and get Jack in the Box. love that stuff.

Well, you can even ask the guys over at TFW2005, I've always been of the mindset that people in Canada that are having trouble catching up with some TFs should definately network the guys in the States. Is there anything you're looking for in particular? I'm in the WA northend, so meeting someone halfway to help them get stuff they may be having trouble finding is not too bad of a drive for me.
So, yea, if you need help; just shout out. And get a list together. I can either find exactly what you're looking for or I can at least point you to the better stores in WA; so you're not wasting a trip.

Luckily after winning animated Sunstorm on eBay last week, I'm pretty good for now. And from my last trip to TRU it sounds like we'll be getting movie stuff at the same time.
But I do appreciate the offer of keeping a eye open for me.
As much as I doubt there is going to be anything up here, that you (or anybody in Washington) would be worried about seeing Hasbro Canada isn't in the business of doing anything special up here nowdays. (Even our Joe stuff, that in the 80's would ship with Canadian flag stickers and such are exactly the same as you are getting at retail.) let me know and I'll make sure I post it for you guys.

There was a good deal of beast wars stuff around about a year and a half ago floating around but it's dried up.
As for G2, that is an area that in these parts I haven't seen much of in years.
That said, I should be going on a run around to a few smaller places tucked into the local asian malls in the next couple weeks, and sometimes a few interesting bits pop up. I doubt i'll see G2 but there could be some Beasties in there.

Lynnwood Walmart: Nothing in ROTF. They put out new Terminator stuff - more accurately it's new for them, but it's just the Wave 1 assortments.
Lynnwood TRU: Also nothing in ROTF - so much for a Preview wave release date. Nothing else much of note.
Lynnwood Target: The same as above.
BB.206 - PM sent.
Posted by Cyberjet #7 on May 16th, 2009 @ 6:25pm CDT
Lynnwood TRU: Nothing of note. Some MU Wave 3 revision asst.
***BB.206 - I can say this now because they're probably not all going to go anytime soon, but TRU had about four of the LeBron vinyl figures; probably more, because I lost count.
Lynnwood Walmart: Grabbed the last 6" Uhura, nothing else of note.
Lynnwood Fred Meyers: No ROTF stuff and nothing else of note.
Lynnwood Big Lots: Three different types of TF Universe 1.0 Scout class. Also *many* Robot Heroes - more recent Wave asst, the same stuff you can find at retail now. The only generic TFs they had were two of the Transmetal 2 Megs (still) - looks horrible for $12.99.

totally dude...miasboytoy up in Vancouver makes a trip down every now and then but a lot of us Washington guys help him out. I'm definitely going to start posting more often here on seibertron. Those mods at TFW2005 are total nazis...I'd copy/paste what they wrote me via PM but I'm sure that'll get me banished which would not be cool.
Anyways, wish I had something to report but nada in my neck of the woods today.
Regarding kicks, sorry to make it sound like they're going out of business... They might actually be doing okay but I just noticed the store is looking pretty run down and Jose hasn't been stocking like Sui Wai did. We'll have to give it a few months to see what happens. I'm sure this crappy economy isn't helping things out. I can speak for several of us who use to shop frequently at kicks... I remember when I use to spend an average of $200-300 a month on toys there but now it's more like $20 a month.
Posted by Cyberjet #7 on May 17th, 2009 @ 1:30am CDT
I think maybe Jose will stock more in the coming months so that he can ride the ROTF gravy train.
Anybody looking for anything right now? Seems like alot of people are just holding out for the ROTF stuff.

Keep looking for those ROTF figures my fellow Seibertronians. Here's a preview of the figures I got my hands on this past week in the Chicago, Illinois area:

I'm pretty much caught up on stuff....just finishing up my Henkei collection right now. Finally got my thrust and ramjet in the mail yesterday...totally hurt the wallet but at least my seeker collection is complete!!
I'm not big into the movie stuff but I definitely want the leader class figures after seeing Megs and Optimus at Bombatron's the other day. The Ironhide and Jetfire look pretty sick as well...

I haven't been active on Seibertron because I've been active on TFW for the past year or so under the handle Black Omega. I guess I'll have to split my time between here and TFW if I am to keep in touch with all of you guys.
On a sighting note, I haven't seen anything worth mentioning in my area. I noticed that my local Target is clearancing out their universe stock. Probably to prepare for ROTF.

I was inspired to pick up the $30 Enterprise replica for myself after seeing the movie. And what's worse is that I now have an Enterprise collecting plastc crack addiction. I picked up the Enterprise A & Enterprise E from Action city Comics in Federal Way. I'll be getting the Enterprise D when it is released next month. And I'm getting the Enterprise B from a friend on the TFW boards that also collects Star Trek.
And I've turned my 6 year old son into a Trekkie!

Yea, Star Trek has really surprised me. I didn't have high expectations, but I was impressed. Enough so that I have two of 12" figures and six of the 6" figures, plus the Hot Wheels scaled Enterprise D - I'm mostly a TNG fan, myself.
Wolverine wasn't very good. I was hugely dsappointed there.
Terminator doesn't look too great - I'm not very confident about that one, but I'll still try to see it this week.
And sadly, ROTF doesn't really look that great to me. I still can't get over Devastator and Megs.

I'm probably a big TNG fan right with you. I watched the fist couple of seasons of the TNG series as a kid with my mom. And contiued watching it on my own. I can't wait until I get the Diamond Select release of the Enterprise D next month.
Ironically I like Wolverine myself. And I'm really looking forward to ROTF. But I won't be gettign the ROTF toys. they seem like more of the same from the first movie. Not that that is a bad thing. I just have enough movie toys for my tastes.
I have to agree that I'm not sure about Terminator though.
