Writer Alex Irvine has updated his blog with an announcement for Transformers fans, a new writer will be taking over writing duties for future Transformers novels. Irvine penned Transformers: Exodus and it's recently released sequel Transformers: Exiles.
To Transformers Fans
An announcement, because many of you are asking:
Someone else is going to be picking up the reins on the Transformers novels from here on out. I enjoyed writing Exodus and Exiles, and enjoyed the conversations with fans even more. Time for me to go do some other things, and for another writer to dig into the rich history of Cybertron and its valiant refugees. (And their dastardly enemies, of course!)
If you liked Exodus and/or Exiles, check out my other books. Here's a good listing to get you started.
Thanks for reading!

Irvine basically turned the Autobots into space televangelist!
KNOCK! KNOCK!! "Hello Velocitron, do you believe in the Primes? Well Megatron is coming so give us some parts an Energon if you wanna be saved! Praise the AllSpark!
KNOCK! KNOCK!! "HELLO JUNKIONS......"
Not to mention he built up this whole arch about Dark Energon in the first book only to pretend they never really used it in the second one.
Yeah just put the novels in someone else's hands who can do justice to Transformers Lore...Space hobos running from Tyrants and Pirates does not!

Baloney! They were trying to warn them of Megatron's threat (which is a real threat to them), yet the different lifestyles of both planets made it hard for them to let both know how much danger each planet was in. Not to mention Makeshift's covert sabotaging their attempts. I don't see any other way that they could gotten each to understand that Decepticons were a force to be reckoned with that neither "driving around in circles" nor "digging/building/recycling" would be enough to protect them.YoungPrime wrote:......What did you expect.

Um, they constantly mention that Cybertron was destroyed (not in a "blown up" sense, mind you), and it was Dark Energon that did so.YoungPrime wrote:Not to mention he built up this whole arch about Dark Energon in the first book only to pretend they never really used it in the second one.
What do you think the Cybertron cartoon was?YoungPrime wrote:Yeah just put the novels in someone else's hands who can do justice to Transformers Lore...Space hobos running from Tyrants and Pirates does not!
