If this in in fact something completely new it might not be all to good or long. Or they have been working on it ever since TFA was first aired, which kinda sounds pretty mean.

I'm a relatively new fan-- didn't start watching ANY Transformers until after TFA was over-- and I would love to have the chance to follow a series on TV. So, yeah, I'll watch, even if it sucks.
Hopefully they'll have less humans in this one...

No. No, no, no, no. NO!
There are only so many times they can re-hash Blackarachnia. She was ok when she popped up in BW, then she sucked as a maximal. Then she sucked harder in BM, then inm Universe as a repaint she sucked, and then in Animated she's even worse. We don't need more of that b!+c#.
Here's the most logical conclusion. They are going to skip showing transformers for the first three episodes so they can get some backstory on the humans, then the robots show up suddenly. The main action focuses around the love lives of the teenage human characters and their struggle of trying to live normal lives with giant robots wandering around shooting stuff. in around episode 22 we discover the faction names. Episode 49 would be a two part episode to introduce optimus prime and maybe two or three other members of the autobots (bumblebee and wheelie). The Decepticons are introduced but the only one that matters is Megatron because all he has are solders and minor goons that hang around for an episode and then are just background props for the autobots to shoot at. The series will end with Optimus about to finish off Megatron (now FABULOUSLY painted purple and named Galvatron) and Optimus is cut-off mid sentance when the screen turns black.
I've also got a car for sale.

"Mommy, where are the toys for the new Transformers: Unnamed series?"
"I don't know. How about this one here?"
*HOLDS UP ROTF SCOUT-CLASS SCATTORSHOT*
"No, Mommy, I want Optimus Prime."
"But he's $20!"
"Not that one, I want the new one!

That's not fair!
On a sidenote, does that mean that they will be releasing the new Animated figures earlier to make room for these? If so, then when? I WANT RODIMUS MINOR AND WINGBLADE OPTIMUS PRIME!!!!!

It's entirely possible this just means that on their new channel they will reshow Animated and Sigma 6, or the Unicron trilogy with SpyTroops/VvV, until they a can start producing new items.
Seeing that at Botcon we saw a good chunk of the upcoming stuff, and Joecon showed stuff that isn't even expected until Q4 2010, would place new productions quite late in the year if we do get anything new in 2010.
(IMO here)
With the third TF movie already set, and with the delays to the animated line after the first, I can easily see Hasbro stretching NEST thru to mid 2010 and filling the 9 months after with a short Universe line before switching to TF3 in Q2 2011.

Standard Fandom response:

30: Rejoyce.
40: GO TO 10.
i agree.
i don't know about the rest of you guys but i liked TFA. the show had good storylines and the show needs an proper ending.
although a new show could be nice, i want Optimus Prime & Megatron as leaders and more of the two dueling. as an added extra: Primus vs. Unicron.

or instead of always creating new shows from scratch, do what they did with TMNT and He-Man, take the original show and just update/reboot it. again it could open the door for Cullen's return.

Hasbro could easily put classics/universe molds back into production to sell, and I would totally dig it.
Most likely thought, the channel will feature re-runs of G1, BW, RID, A/E/C and Animated at different times.

Exactly! Do what they did with He-man and Ninja Turtles. Those were great updates.

Exactly what I was thinking. Why do they keep starting from scratch with new versions of the concept. Do an updated G1 show, now that we've had 25 years to see what works and what doesn't, mythology wise, then put out Classic/Universe toys.
