Is it sad that I'm more excited for the last dregs of Combiner Wars than I am for the Return of the Headmasters?

Man, I hope the third part of this thing is multi-changers or something.

I am more excited for Titans Return. It doesnt help that Combiner Wars closes on something I really dont care about (an autobot combiner with characters I already have, save for Skylynx).

Also, is anyone else getting a 3p vide from Hardhead?



I love Hasbro doing all this, they are reaching for fun ideas that both kids and collectors can enjoy.

I feel the same. I've never been a fan of headmasters myself but making characters like blaster and galvatron into something they've never been doesn't interest me the same way ironhide, streaker, mirage and prowl being combiners doesn't interest me.

I've been so excited over the headmasters idea (with some exceptions). This is great. I love Brainstorm and now he will have fellow headmasters to join him. I am so excited. Can't wait for more news

You know, I can't quite put a finger on it, but the art/sculpt style seems to be different than combiner wars. I like it.

It's really noticeable on Hardhead, but also on all of them. I agree with you, it's interesting

i was like this in the morning after seeing this i was like hasbro your the best at a lot of times plus as soon as i saw micromasters i was like hasbro you really are f****** kicking it out of the ball park

I think they're just "extra heads" for lack of a better term. Kinda like those standalone Japanese exclusive Headmasters Kirk, Rodney and Loafer.

Same gimmick as Galvatron. So the Leader(?) Class figures have helmets, akin to that of G1 Scorponok? Makes sense, a small head on a big body would look pretty silly.

This means I won't buy galvatron. Nice job hasbro you finally give us a good big galvatron and completely ruin him by making him a headmaster. What a joke.

Hopefully there'll be non headmaster bots. Hoping sentinel prime just has the ability to suit up like iron man. Skullcruncher gives me hope that maybe we'll get predaking. Just hoping it's not going to be headmaster wars.

If their doing a the g1 type "masters" my wallet is going to hate me too plus i see micromasters frickin micromasters nothing can get more g1 than this also i sense actual good actionmaster figures not too far away...

I dont see how skullcruncher would indicate anything towards a predaking. They are from different G1 eras and have different gimmicks. Dont want to bring your idea down but I would suggest to not hope too much since I dont think one is an indication of the other.

Since we don't need two explanations for the same figure in a row I'll change my comment.

Is it just me or does that Hardhead look like a voyager and not a deluxe? It looks pretty damn beefy and looks to be larger overall than Skullcruncher. Also it might just be the illusion of distance in the pictures but Hardhead looks like he'd tower over Windblade and come up to around Bruticus' pelvis whereas Skullcruncher looks like he comes up to Sky Reign's knee.
