I have no doubt about it. The color placement is about right (though this is a dark gray rather than the blue we're used to seeing on Drift toys), it's almost the right shape, and it's got missile pods like the Skyhammer mold has. Plus, it's got an Autobot faction symbol slapped on the side, so that narrows it down some.

Remember on deluxe Drifts toy it says he used to be a decepticon.
I believe this is when Drift is a Decepticon in the early part of the movie but for marketing sake they package him as an Autobot so they can get him off the shelf because for some reason kids dont buy decepticons anymore despite them having good guys with no bad guys to fight.

I'm not sure how this relates to Drift possibly being the mystery chopper.

They put an autobot symbol on the chopper to not spoil the plot point that Drift starts the movie as a Decepticon then switches sides.

But I still don't understand how Blackout and Grindor have to do with anything. For the record, Blackout and Grindor are completely separate characters.

Blackout never came back plus Grindor was in the trailers and it was said they are separate.
We never saw Blackout come back to life (cons had one shard)
While similar Grindor is a different chopper from Blackout
The games call him Grindor so do the toys and he is never called Blackout in rotf so I'm sure it is safe to call him Grindor.

Drift is a master of ancient weaponry who always remains calm and controlled during combat. Long ago, he fought for the DECEPTICONS. The scars of battle changed his thinking, and now Drift wields his swords for good as a member of the AUTOBOTS!

You would think a T-rex was a good bedside bully

Hopefully she's too stunned to throw him back at me.

That wasn't blackout in ROTF? I thought it was, my bad.

OR
Evasion mode Prime without chrome, closer G1 robot mode, with flames, and a faceplate with the 6th or 7th domestic release of the Classic Prime mold, with chrome. Don't know about you but I'm having a hard time figuring out which set I want.
