I was trying to figure out how we missed another Garbage Truck Transformer. Then I realized that was Grimlock...

How did we miss Grimlock wearing a Garbage Truck???

welp, so that confirms that the battle armor sets are scout size, except for megs, optimus, bee, and grimlock which is deluxe size.
definitely digging that grimlock tho. and the garbage truck armor is hillarious and awesome at the same time.

These are genuinely adorable designs. They’re really growing on me. If they weren’t such simple toys, I’d probably have to start collecting them. Luckily for my wallet, they aren’t aimed at my collecting tastes. All the same I can’t deny that there’s something appealing to the kid in me in this line’s aesthetic.

I haven’t had much of a reason to post on this forum since my only Cyberverse figure so far is the bigger Shockwave, but I had a rough work day and found grumpy warrior Prowl at Fred Meyer on my way home. Looked in about the same mood I was in so I took him home with me. He’s pretty fun! Not perfect of course, but I didn’t expect him to be. He’s got a non-intrusive gimmick (thank god), decent enough articulation and his head can even turn! Several steps ahead of wave one. I think he’ll end up on my IDW shelf, he looks just angry enough to be the same guy Chromedome threw off a cliff. I hope more Cyberverse figures can keep up this quality, I haven’t even been tempted to buy a single other toy besides the two I have.

Had an interesting encounter at Canadian Toys R Us.

>Shopping in the TF section. Nothing interest me.
>5yo boy with his mom, choosing some TF for himself.
>Look in their cart, see 2 Studio Series figures (of course) and the big Cyberverse Optimus.
>Advise against the SS because too complicated and too fragile for his age.
>Kid only had a "shampoo bottle" and some 1step before.
>This 5yo boy want Transformers that transform and most importantly, GOOD ARTICULATION POINTS!
>Tell them that the big Cyberverse Optimus is a great choice. Need a second one because of the sale.
>Kid didn't want Turbo Charge Barricade because for him, a bad guy that is a cop made no sense and it's stupid (a nice attitude)
>Under my suggestion, end up getting Cyberverse Ultra Shockwave because cyclop alien that turn into a spider with "hidden 5th leg magic" is mega cool.
>Despite the beehive present, no Bees pleased him.

This 5 year old kid is already "one of us"!

Courtesy of the Facebook page of In Demand Toys, we have a picture of the upcoming Alpha Trion figure from the Ultra Class of Transformers: Cyberverse. This will be the first wave of Ultra Class figures in the line to have the new "Power of the Spark" imprint. The packaging calls out the "Laser Beam Blast" play feature of the toy which deploys a pair of double-barreled laser cannons on either side of Alpha Trion's starship alternate mode. Alpha Trion himself looks nice and bulky, befitting of his role in the ongoing animated series. Unfortunately, In Demand Toys will NOT be stocking this particular figure, so you'll have to look elsewhere to pick this figure up. Take a look at the picture below and behold Alpha Trion in all his royal purple majesty!

Have you been collecting the Cyberverse line so far? Will you be adding Ultra Class Alpha Trion to your Aubtobot ranks? Let us know in the comments below, and stay tuned to Seibertron.com for the latest news on all things Transformers.

Well, the line's still young. And if I'm not mistaken, Siege is just the 1st part of another trilogy. I'm sure Alpha Trion's popular enough to warrant another figure. But you're right, a version similar to this in the Siege style would look pretty good.

The Cyberverse line is easily the most ignored current Transformers line by fans. Which is ironic since it is probably the one ordered in highest quantities by retail stores. It is also ignored in the video review circuit but we have some below from fellow Seibertronian Chuckdawg 1999.

Enjoy!

Transformers Cyberverse One Step Hot Rod and Wheeljack

chuckdawg1999 wrote:Hot Rod and Wheeljack are fun additions to the One-Step sub-set of the Cyberverse line. Both feature a fun weapon gimmick and in the case of Hot Rod, one that works better than the larger scale toy. Each figure makes for a fun desk toy and enjoyable addition to any collection.

Transformers Cyberverse Scout Class Ratchet

chuckdawg1999 wrote:Most collectors have ignored the Scout Class line from Cyberverse which is a shame since they're fun figures. Ratchet draws heavily from its RID look with a slight nod to G1. The gimmick of a tow hook is fun but a little confusing since it doesn' really fit with the character. Overall Scout Class Ratchet from the Cyberverse line is a fun figure and worth a look.

Transformers Cyberverse Scout Class Shadow Striker

chuckdawg1999 wrote:While the Scout Class in the Cyberverse line is one of, if not the most polarizing sublines in Transformers history, I enjoy the figures for what they are. Shadow Striker features a fun spring-loaded blast effect that kinda reminds me of Mario Kart for some reason. Ultimately, I see most collectors passing on the figure and holding out for a Warrior Class version.

Thanks to the In Demand Toys Facebook page we're getting our first look at stock photos of some of the highly anticipated Cyberverse Spark Armor figures. Under the Power of the Spark subtitle we're looking at three of the four figures found in wave 1 of the new Battle Class.

Starscream with Demolition Destroyer
Sky-Byte with Drill Driver
Prowl with Cosmic Patrol

Not seen is Jetfire with Tank Cannon. It should be noted that In Demand Toys is a UK store and wont be stocking these figures. What do you think of these new stock photos? Sound off in the Energon Pub forums

All three have arm articulation, Prowl will likely have knees due to his transformation, not sure about Starscream and Sky-Byte though...

All three have arm articulation, Prowl will likely have knees due to his transformation, not sure about Starscream and Sky-Byte though...

I think previous images implied that they have knee articulation as well.

Yep, they all have at least 8 points at the shoulders, elbows, hips, and knees. I'm not positive about neck articulation, but some do have waist articulation at this scale.

I think the figure I might be looking forward to the most is Elite Optimus Prime with Sky Turbine (the jet). It appears to be the best version of the character yet, he has lots of extra articulation not found on the smaller figures, and even has heel spurs so the armor doesn't make him fall over backwards.

He does have a butt flap, though.

If these are like the RID Armor figures these will be the best articulated figures of the line. Just wish they came with weapons.

I think Sy-Byte’s drill tank looks a little more like Drillhorn from the Victory Breastforce

Or at least it looks like he European Rescue Force repaint of Drillhorn.

In this day and age, everybody needs some proper butt coverage.

I was right about the size, these look to be around Scout/Legends size and I don't think the larger figures will be bigger than Voyager.

Thanks to a Facebook post by In Demand Toys, we have some new images to share with you today of the upcoming Transformers Cyberverse Warrior Class Gnaw!

Cyberverse Warrior Gnaw is a brand new mold that takes some inspiration from the previously released Titans Return Gnaw figure, though they are not the same mold. He also features a "Mace Mash" attack, where he swings his arm and his mace comes flying at filty Autobot faces!

Gnaw is set to be available later this year alongside the Battle for the Spark figures that include the Spark Armor gimmick. He will retail at $14.99.

So what do you think of this Gnaw figure? Are you ready to troop build this guy? Let us know in the comments section below!

Not only does gnaw have mushroom pegs for elbows, but his shark arms seem to be one piece with the head halves. I know the partcounts are tight for this line, but ouch.

I can see getting one or two of these to repaint.

Why do they have the shark head parts hanging off the legs again? It was clunky on the Generations toy and looks clunky here. Why not simply have it as a backpack like the G1 toy?

Glad that what I thought was a peg hole dead center on his torso is really a square, and therefore doesn't really look like a robo-navel.

But for some reason, all the unpainted grey makes him look a youngbot wearing one-piece Sharkticon sleeper PJs in robot mode. So I guess I won't be buying every single toy I see minus-1, like I did with TR Gnaw...and like I may end up doing with the Scraplet.

Oh well, my 20-or-so Prime Wars/Legends Sharkticons, and BotCon Sharkticon and Shark Sentry trios, can probably cope with fewer new playmates this year. But they'll still ask me every day when the Quintessons unique to Dweller in the Depths are going to finally get their toys...

“Inspired by” TR Gnaw? The transformation engineering looks exactly the same to me. Right down to the lazy-butt “hands stuck to the back of the foot” thingy and the monster arms just hanging off his shins.

Thanks to a listing that has cropped up on Amazon UK, we have some new images of the forthcoming Transformers Cyberverse toy, Spark Armour Ark Power Optimus Prime!

Image

Image

The images show the figure in unarmoured robot mode, alt mode, alt mode towing the ark, and of course, the combined robot mode in all its glory.

The figure is the largest out of the Spark Armour subline, and was revealed at New York Toy Fair 2019, click here to check out our coverage of this figure, it's related toyline and more!

The listing itself seems to be a placeholder for now, containing no new information and listing the item as currently unavailable.

What do you think of this figure? Are you looking forward to his release? Let us know in the Energon Pub and stay tuned to Seibertron for all the latest news and reviews!

Those non-transforming legs make that truck mode look like trash. Still, it may be a nice idea for Optimus to be able to carry the mini Ark. The only fault I see on the bot mode is the unpainted hands. Easily fixable. Way better than the huge truck panels in front of the fists that the other Optimuses have. And the armored mode? It look totally bad-ass. So overall, I think the good far outweigh the bad. I may consider getting him if found on sale.

I'd much rather the figure be able to bend it's knee's than have legs that 'transform', remember, this is cyberverse, where knee's aren't even a given anymore >:oP
