I wish they had the number designations in their display art...I mean I know Ironhide is #14...and have seen a few other numbers from the SDCC display case but...

Excited for that Dropkick. Always need more good Helicopters. And I love that he is using a toy only 07 character

Hear hear! I regret selling my Generations Whirl but Dropkick looks fantastic, and so much more accurate. I love my aircraft and he looks superb. Bravo HasTak!
Also I like that the Bug Bee doesn't seem to have the rust effects as on the two-pack.

Is there any reason they decided to call him Dropkick instead of WHIRL???
Can't wait to get him & make movie WHIRL.

Because he's a villain from the upcoming Bee movie and a triple changer (Although not in the toy), he's nothing like Whril besides turning into a blue helicopter.
Would you rather Whirl be turned into an actual villain and lose out on the one eye that makes him special?

Dropkick look FANTASTIC. And I think I'll hold on getting lockdown in favor of Shadow Raider. Having Peru Kill and all...

Oh yeah, I totally forgot he's from THAT movie. I've pretty much blocked out anything related to Bumblebee.

I'm in agreement that we need more good helicopter transformers but do they all have to be blue?
I know they're not all blue but there's quite a lot. Whirl, Cyclonus, Rotorstorm, Rotorbolt, Coptor, Rotor, Drift, Windmill, Blackout, Flip-Top, Obsidian, Skyhammer, G2 Vortex, Highbrow, Blazemaster, Twister, Botcon Battletrap, Grindor sometimes, Evac sometimes and now Dropkick. Not to mention a bunch of Minicon redecos and whoever I left out. Most Spinisters, Twin Spin, RotF Votrex and TCC Topspin are all part blue too.
Damn, how did I leave out Blue Bacchus? It's even in his name that's he's blue.

Don't know much about dropkick, but he is definitely high on my lis. A bit of retooling here and there and i could see hasbro using the mold as whirl.
Also digging the repaints, surprisingly.

So my theory is that Shadow Raider is meant to represent the various mercenaries that patrol the knight ship in AOE. Between the rifle and the mask, I believe that he is meant to encourage army building while also representing an individual character ( similar to Thundercracker). My guess is that the color scheme is meant to make him stand out.

Why are we getting a second Ratchet so soon. I mean I like the color but its too soon man! The Shadow Raider and KSI sentry look awesome though. Not too sure on the Ironhide but I do need the weapons from it if they are the same kind as the ones I am missing.

If it is the same character and not just another recycled name use, that is.

Random interjection I guess, but Chosen Prime has Studio Series Ironhide in stock. He’s paired with Optimus again for $65 but I snagged the pair anyway. Looks like I can pair these with MPM Ironhide when he comes out for the free shipping and get 2 Ironhides at once!

So, uh, I bought an SS Bee that was a return and it had its roof popped off in packaging. I thought I could just pop the roof back on but it's not staying on or seem like it's clicking in? Is there any way to fix this?

Sometimes you just need help getting a nut off.

Ratchet looks OK, but I think I'll pass. Eh.
Bumblebee looks great. I wish he had his standard "cute" face but I can dig it.
Dropkick looks awesome. I hope we get a version of his muscle car form though.
Ironhide looks decent, may get him but then again may not.
Shadow Raider looks great, I don't want Lockdown but as a Decepticon grunt/one of Lockdown's mercenaries I can get behind it and I'll probably get him.
KSI Sentry looks nice, I don't know if I want him as I already have Stinger (and I wish his vehicle mode had been retooled) but he is a good reuse of the mold. The arm claw is a nice touch.

You know, if Shadow Raider is meant to represent Lockdown's mercenaries, then perhaps "Shadow Raider" might not refer to a particular merc's name but to the whole faction/unit/group/ etc. that Lockdown and his comrades belong to (e.g. "Lockdown and friends are the Shadow Raiders").

Maybe it's a cute nod to another mainframe cartoon from the late nineties/early noughties

As much as I'd love for that to be the case, given that Warden and his team seem to be under the delusion that shows from that era (as in, the height of MY childhood) are "too obscure" for people to care about nowadays, it's probably just a coincidence.
