And I love how their promo shots continue to show the guns shoulder mounted when it's been documented over and over that the don't stay attached.
The only way I'll consider the R/F versions is if they go on sale in the future. All others are easy passes.

Sums up my thoughts on this pretty well. I hate how the gun modes don't fit or stay in the shoulder of the armor. Wasn't that one of the big selling points for these guys? That is one reason I have steered clear of these overpriced little fellas.

The other day I finally saw one of the Shadow Warriors in person, and they are TINY. No way that's worth even $40, the paint apps were pretty terrible too. Yeah, I'm just gonna completely pass on Perfect Effect products unless they go on sale for super cheap.

It already stores there? How?

Making it easier to attach the BFG to Shadow Commander's back in an attractive fashion is a bonus.

It uses pretty much the same concept that this "backpack" will. You use the white peg on the back of your Shadow/Powered/City Commander . Use the groove that runs down the middle of the BFG to fit over that peg. This will take a little force and it doesn't fit perfectly, but I find it works. Now, with this in mind, I do like the fact that the backpack give the gun a 45 degree tilt and a place for his sword to store. My only concern is the BFG alone makes the figure slightly back heavy. I'm afraid the addition of the backpack to the BFG will cause this to become worse.

Any chance you'd like to get rid of one?

I'd appreciate that.

Yeah, I can post more pictures and a review if you'd like. You will have to forgive the picture resolution though, all I have is my iphone. The set though, is pretty solid.

One question: Does it run the risk of causing paint chips? If it's a very tight fit, I'd worry.

I'm wondering if this was a problem with a certain batch of these (or of the Shadow Commander armor), as I've had zero problems getting my original Shadow Warrior to stay mounted on my Shadow Commander's shoulder, either pointing upwards or forward. I was surprised but pleased that I had reconsidered and purchased this, as I was going to pass until they announced the Demolitions set. Now I'm considering the Rumble/Frenzy pack as well, though I dunno whose Targetmasters I'd make them.
I have another original PE-01 on the way; we'll see if it has any issues connection issues.
