Seibertron.com member Blurrz has just informed us that he's gotten new images of the upcoming Transformers Marvel Crossover figure
THOR. Here's what he had to share:
Thanks to our good friend kenzsq (the same source for the images of Marvel Crossovers Captain America), we now have new images of Thor, who is scheduled to be released in the 3rd Wave of Marvel Crossovers, along with Captain America, Carnage(repaint of Venom), and War Machine (repaint of Iron Man).
Here are the images on what seems to be another spectacular addition to the Crossovers family:

That robot mode doesn't look bad, though the sheer amount of detail inside the wings is lost to the flat, unpainted finish.
But GOOD GOD is that vehicle mode hideous...

Way too much unpainted plastic, it just looks cheap
![Sad :-(]()

I'm tempted to try drybrushing some gold and silver over the body panels to see how it would come out. Given the amount of detailing, I can't believe it was designed for the flat colors.

It screams "Happy Meal Toy" to me.

The way it transforms looks cool but the figure as a hole is crap. Im kinda getting sick of the cross overs. Only a few actually turn out good and this aint one of em.

I think this figure should been a seeker mold for TF Crossover: GI Joe. The A-10 isn't quite a Cobra Rattler, but its close enough, IMO.

A-10 Thunderbolt... Thor... Ahhh I get it, very clever! Actually, I think this is one of the better crossovers. Good A-10 mold and good robot mold, although the colors on the A-10 are superbly terrible. As said befor, it's definitely too bad that the intricate runes on the inside panels of Thor's cape haven't been highlighted... Dry brushing seems like a good idea.

I'm still pretty excited for the Thor & the Cap.
I plan to do repaints with both, though I don't know what I'm repainting the Thor into.
Maybe a Rattlor, but I may try Jin's repaint of Powerglide for that.

Once again, another Crossovers figure that with better paint application would look aces, but falls on its ass because of what was done with it.

Looks very colorful. but what strikes me is the this new engineering fashion where the plane's nosecone splits in half, and the waist pegs under the cockpit. So far all the planes in the Crossovers line seem to have this same basic transformation style.
Torch, Iron Man/WM, Thor.
Is it something easy to do? Or does it just yield a better looking Robot?
