They are currently having a competition, "The April Toy Giveaway", the purpose of which seems to be to give people an incentive (the chance to win a free Generations Wheeljack) to vote for their next project - A Devcon upgrade set.
The strange thing is the set is already up for pre-order and slated for a 1st Quarter 2011 release, the competition, however, tells us that the set will be a head to change Generations Scourge into Devcon.
We have mirrored the only available image found at their website.
If you're wondering who Devcon is, here's the Vector Sigma Database entry for him.
There is no information concerning a concrete release date or pricing of the set, we will, however keep you updated.

...oh, and I'll probably get this too. And maybe even their pointless Arcee head.

From tfwiki:
''Among the submitted proposals for 3H's BotCon 2005 exclusives was Energon Slugslinger (with a new head) as Devcon. Whether it actually would have been produced had 3H kept the convention license is unknown.''

I'm not lost on anything. Have fun overpaying for items of dubious quality at best.

Haha I'm just picking on you. I've heard your rants on the podcast. You really should try one out though if the financial opportunity presents itself. Say, FP's Protector to tide you over until Hasbro's release of MP Hot Rod. You may be pleasantly surprised.

$200 for MP Rodimus
$80 for Protector (+10 for Rodimus)
Which one were people complaining about the quality on?

Anyways, if it's cheap enough and in the right size, I might just modify it to fit Energon Slugslinger instead.

The first one, though I may pick up the second "Cartoon" upgrade when it comes out. Haven't decided, and that's OK.

Ah, I see. That's the same one I have so I'm in the same boat.

The image looks like Blurr to me. Make it Blurr !!! Give us a G1 style head for Generations Blurr because the head Hasbro put really sucks.

Because that shit is hot, son! Also, hahahahaaaa. There's nothing "knock-off crap" about any of the fansproject or head robots stuff. The 3rd party market is vastly more professional and useful than it has ever been before. I don't get a lot of the resistance from some folks when some of the newer 3rd party items are dirt cheap for quality items they are. Blanket statements regarding this stuff kinda shows ignorance and close-mindedness.

Maybe we can all chip in like 5 bucks and get this dude a god damn Protector or Defender. No disrespect to Skice, but all this loyalty to Hasbro makes me puke. My loyalty lies with the "Transformers Universe", not with any one company who simply creates figures for the Transformers Universe. The word "OFFICIAL" really means nothing. That is, unless you care about the chain of people who have bought up and sold copyrights like if they were stocks. The original creators (artists) to half of these G1 characters could be dead or in their 70's by now.

Good call on the Hardhead. I'm really glad I went in on that one. As a matter of fact, I think I like Hardhead more than all of my Fansproject upgrades.
Proof that 3rd party stuff doesn't have to be expensive to be good.

Hmmm...why am I not hearing ANY of the same derision, scorn, blatant rudeness that I received way back when I was so supportive of Drift long prior to his actual production.
This guy has an appearance way back in G1, which for the life of me I can't even remember such an appearance, and folks are like "meh".
Whatever! Even thinking back on the whole experience makes me officially pissed off and wholly against this character, this figure (real or imagined) and anything having to do with it.

That's an easy question to answer: Devcon didn't make his first appearance in All Hail Megatron, one of the most divisive pieces of Transformers fiction ever written. Devcon wasn't characterized as an ultimate Shonen Jump badass for the other established Autobots to ooh and ah over. Devcon didn't get a contrived backstory about being a former Decepticon. Heck, Devcon doesn't have any backstory. He's just a generic bounty hunter.
Drift, in concept, is cool. He's a Japanese race car that seems pretty up-to-date with modern trends. Too bad the way he was introduced into Transformers fiction makes me want to pour kerosene on all of my IDW trade paperbacks, light a match, and then slow cook every god damn Classics toy in my collection into a pile of plastic goo.
I tried to like Drift, but I just can't. He's awful. A Devcon toy, on the other hand, has working potential.

I'm not understanding your usage of "our" here.
