Before we get into the images though, it's also been reported that Thundercracker scans at $29.99 at Toys R Us stores! This is the same price as other Studio Series Voyagers, so it appears that Thundercracker won't cost any extra despite being a store exclusive.
The first picture from Weibo shows Thundercracker's packaging art in full - tweaked from that of The Last Knight Nitro Zeus (Thundercracker's base for this toy) and sporting Thundercracker's head instead. The other two images depict the toy in its robot and vehicle modes, and give us our best look so far at what we might expect it to look like color-wise. Thundercracker sports paint detail heavily based on his Generation 1 appearance, though with a small amount of 'realistic' modification to better fit a more Movie-based aesthetic: a clear cockpit instead of yellow, more subtle Decepticon symbols on the wings, and so on. It even appears that the front-most sections of his wings in jet mode have been made gray to visually replicate the intakes on his G1 toy.

My best guess is yes. I believe you can see the very front of the square titan master port right below his chin. Looks to be the same as on Nitro Zues to me. I can't imagine that they would somehow fix it in place as it would cost more than simply making an extra detachable head.

These will be coming out in Brazil in April and the prices will vary from R$ 149,99 to R$ 299,99 there. These images come from Transformers Dioramas.

We got an idea of the scale last month, but considering how Megatron compares to Grimlock in the first pic above I have to guess that Megatron should be a little taller than Starscream and Blackout (his head anyway). We thought Grimlock was a tall Leader, but he might actually be a normal leader and Blackout is a short Leader to make the scale work. That would then make Starscream a normal Voyager, Megatron a tall Voyager, and Prime a short Voyager. It's very interesting, but it also makes me wonder how simple Megatron is to make up for his added height.

Actually, I think that might be accurate. Hard to tell in the movies (they're never standing still next to each other, and the animators admitted to making OP look bigger than he should in certain scenes like the forest fight in RotF), but in all the promo materials and stuff like the movie video games, Megs is always shown to be significantly bigger.

Why do they have Jazz holding his gun upside down?
Edit: And why are Brawl's arms reversed?

Posted by Overcracker on March 7th, 2018 @ 10:17pm CST
Megs is kind of disappointing overall.
Must have that Jazz now. Though he'll need some paint on those rims. With all the other paint and the lavish silver Solstice mold, the black rims just don't work. Also, why oh why is his chest mistransformed in the stock photos, but correct in the group shot.
Prime, just.... Need to convince myself I don't need another prime, and not one that small, and with such an ugly chest.

They're not: the claw and blaster are on 5mm pegs and detach. They're used as handheld weapons in the display.

That may be so. But he's defenitely BEEFIER and larger than Prime.
Prime is ugly asfak BTW.

Ah, OK. Thought I had seen it with the weapons on the correct arms in other shots, so that makes more sense then them somehow mistransforming his arms backwards, LOL. Must just peg into the top of the tank mode when he transforms. Not really digging it, but then I already have the deluxe and leader from the first movie line, so I didn't really need him anyway.
That Megatron looks good, wasn't really planing on grabbing him either but now I might wait and see once someone can compare him to some of the older Meg voyagers. Same with Lockdown, who looks to be a huge improvement over the original.

Thundercracker meanwhile, I honestly couldn't say whether I like the look of him or not. The colors in renders look really nice and if his head can be removed he might make a good Genericon with like Overboard or someone for the head, but the problem is it's impossible to tell the toy's actual final colors yet and I'm worried they're really dark and drab. Additionally I'm really not a fan of the Movie Starscream/Seeker head and it just doesn't look right to me on this body either. All that said, I'm sure if he manages to make his way down here somehow, I'll snap him up immediately - it's more a question of whether I'll regret doing so later or not

Grimlock looks incredible. I expect that he will be the Cogman of Studio Series: Everything else in the line is pretty good to great, but he just blows everyone away with the amount of molded detail, just phenomenal apps and an excellent paint wash. While I'm undecided if I'll pick him up, I can't believe we'll be getting a figure like that in the main line. Love it! I'm very happy for all the Bayverse fans out there.
Thundercracker I'm underwhelmed by. I'm forever a fan of that Nitro mold, but I don't really think it works in that deco, as that character. I dunno, I'll need some addition In-hands to decide.

Do you mean his torso looks like a face like TFP Rumble's or do you mean there's his battle mask hidden?

That's how I'm justifying Thundercracker being a reuse of the Nitro Zeus mold.
Edit: Also going to justify the DOTM part on the package as Thundercracker being one of the many Decepticons who were on the moon (I also consider TLK Onslaught to be the same guy as the Garbage truck con in DOTM since they have similar colors and mass...he just lost his arm) quoting Movie Thundercracker's Tfwiki image quote.

Sounds good to me.
Maybe you can come up with an explanation for the insectoid legs on their mold's belly and neck especially because TC's head looks very insectoid, too. To me it looks like there's a larvae or centipede inside an armor.

Just going to chalk it up as a design choice, considering that their design predecessor the KSI Boss has the same thing going on and same with the design that design was based off from 2009, it's just standard Live action film aesthetic.
(The KSI Boss from AOE)

Pretty much a pre-AoE Movie Decepticon design, huh?
Anybody found a head that matches Thundercracker's colors? And don't say Thunderwing.

I'd still lean towards Overboard, but since I neither have Thundercracker nor have I seen any good pics yet that show off his colors properly, I can't actually be sure.

Blowpipe (Triggerhappy)
Clobber (Grimlock)
Terri-Bull
Ghost Starscream
Scorchfire (Windblade)

Looking at Overboard and the pictures of Thundercracker they do appear to be very close in color, I'm not sure if it's exactly the same but their both Dark blue, one could also use a black or grey Titanmaster instead.
Funny the Crashbash Titanmaster mold has been considered to be used as a Seeker (Starscream) head in customs and was actually used in the Pretender Starscream Titanmaster from that purposed botcon exclusive set.

Are you saying that the wings fold themselves up or something? Because otherwise I don't know why you would think they couldn't be left unfolded.
Found some pics on TFw2005 that I saw earlier for you though.

Yes, thanks folks. That's how I'm probably going to have Thundercracker transformed. I'll pop G1 insignias on both sides of his wings too.

Its far more than that. I am comparing to joints and parts and where they are found on the toy, and that all matches up.
Its an upscale the same way these toys were upscales too:

Is a compeletly new mold, it has to be at that scale. But its based on the deluxes toy. Its not like they tried reinventing the wheel with this one.

Plase read my comment above, I am not referring to the detailing on the parts (so yes, detail was the wrong word to choose) but where all the parts are match up and is similar to the differnece found in previous upscales Hasbro performed.
