The team bringing us the amazingly detailed
Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen Megatron Polystone statue, Prime 1 Studios, has teased their next project, MMTFM-02. Based on the prototype shield image mirrored below from their facebook page, it appears that they will be taking on Transformers: Dark of the Moon Optimus Prime. If their Megatron is any indication this will be an impressive and expensive piece.

I dunno... That looks an awful lot like Sentinel's shield.

Yeah, that totally looks like Sentinel´s shield, but I just can´t remember if Optimus had one like that too in the movie.

Honestly I don't know if it's Optimus's shield for Sentinel's shield. I knew both were very similar, but figured Optimus seemed like the more likely choice they already have Megatron underway.

Judging from the vidcaps, it's definitely Optimus's shield. The detailing on Sentinel's shield is very different.

Still not worth anywhere close to $2000. You could buy a motorcycle or a used car for that price.

For $2000, it needs to not only transform, but do so on command.
That and cut the faces of random Decepticon toys when you aren't looking.

that thing is ridiculously beautiful. but who can afford that? even i, who collects TF's, comics and even statues cant justify that. 500 is as far as ive gone for a statue.

I know it's crazy but I got one on pre order. I missed out on the Sideshow Collectibles Maquette one a few years back and those started at $1200 and are selling for between $1700 and $2500 now. I got to see that one in person at the Sideshow booth at SDCC '10. It was beautiful and I kicked myself for missing out on it. I figure why not? You only live once and I'm a huge fan. Life's to short

This is a truly beautiful piece of art. But for $2000, I would expect it to transform on its own and brew my coffee.

Anyone know if that Prime riding Grimlock is part of the statue or is it the DMK Prime by Takara with a Bad A$$ paint job?

That Optimus riding on Grimlock statue looks like it could be at least $3000. If not, more because of the extreme detail and giant size.

Autobase Aichi on Facebook, we're getting a nice look at some of the Transformers licensed products on display over at the Japanese garage kit Wonder Festival 2015 - and we're mirroring images for you below, starting with the offerings of Prime One Studio!
Take a look below at some of their recent non-transforming statues, such as DOTM Bumblebee, AoE Grimlock and Optimus, and some of their upcoming work, such as AoE Drift, an unpainted Galvatron and the updated Silver Knight Optimus, along with plenty of movieverse busts, from Ironhide, to Brawl to Starscream.
