From the Toy Fair 2015: Hasbro Press release:
Beginning in March, the newest animated series, TRANSFORMERS: Robots in Disguise will begin a brand new chapter for the TRANSFORMERS brand with all new storytelling and gameplay. The new series, airing on Cartoon Network, is filled with humour, fun, adventure, and animated ina cooler, lighter, brighter style that kids are going to love.
Transformers: Robots in Disguise Optimus Prime One Step
This isn’t just a one-step changer, it’s a huge one-step changer. Standing at over 11 inches tall, this Optimus Prime figure converts from robot to truck mode and back again, in one motion. The transformation is simple; just pull the trailer apart to go from vehicle to robot, then push the chest and swing the cab down to convert back. In addition, with the Transformers: Robots in Disguise app downloaded to your mobile device, you can scan the shield to unlock a character, weapons, etc. The Optimus Prime One Step is expected to be available from Autumn 2015.
Transformers: Rescue Bots High Tide Rescue Rig
High Tide, a new Rescue Bot recruit in the Transformers: Rescue Bots programming, is introduced here in toy form. The High Tide Rescue Rig includes a mini-sub that converts automatically from vehicle mode to bot mode. High Tide can also command his Rescue Rig ship by placing the figure inside of the center hatch, then raising the levers to reveal him in the commander’s seat. To convert him to vehicle mode, press the levers down and twist the hull – now High Tide is converted to mini-sub mode. The playset also includes a crane with rescue equipment, front storage hatch, and capture cage with trap door. The Rescue Rig is compatible with the Rescue Bots Rescan figures and mini-figures to ignite the imagination.
Also spotted were the super Bumblebee one step changer (similar in size to Stomp & Chomp Grimlock), a Bumblebee blaster gun that looks like a car, and a Decepticon Hunter sword.
That’s all we’ve got for confirmed news for now, but read on for rumors and speculation from an anonymous, but reliable, source.
**The following is rumor and should not be considered speculation until officially confirmed.**
Rumor has it that besides the already much-speculated upcoming releases of Takara Masterpiece Tracks and Masterpiece Ironhide, that we could see Tank Megatron, Ratchet, Shockwave, Blitzwing, and Galvatron.
That’s it for now… but if more news breaks at the UK Toy Fair, you’ll read it here first!

I've wanted a MP G2 tank Megatron for years now, but didn't think it would be possible unless made by one of the 3rd party groups.

That confirms a bunch of stuff we read about being found with Devastator in Canadian toy case breakdowns.ScoutBumblebee wrote:Also spotted were the super Bumblebee one step changer (similar in size to Stomp & Chomp Grimlock), a Bumblebee blaster gun that looks like a car, and a Decepticon Hunter sword.

Hoping all of All of these rumored MasterPiece Transformers here get made in toys.
Can understand making the Transformations easier for kids as the Movie toys were hard to Transform. Think taking away articulation is a budget cuts issue.
Don't mind buying less complex transformation toys. Would have bought this if it had full articulation on the robot mode.

Nope: the Japanese version of Leader Megatron is slated for the Transformers Legends line. It was merely a size comparison.

And hopefully a new mp gun megatron.
But if they make a tank that represents g1 megatrons robot mode very well, I might settle for that

Tank Megatron? In a line that currently prides itself with how close to the toon and media portrayal it is? A Galvatron, so short after the release of the supposed Megatron? And to top it all off That's 7, or if we take the other rumor into account 8 MP figures for this year, with 6 of them being new molds. And all that after Takara announced that they would make 1 large MP mold, two new small MP molds, and repaints of those each year.
Tracks and Ironhide/ Ratchet are the most believable.
What I believe happened is this:
Someone saw Takara's promo image for Leader Class tank Megatron which shows it next to MP10, and then just assumed that that was supposed to be an MP Megatron.
The Galvatron one may be a misinterpreted Combiner Wars Galvatron, which has also been rumored for a while now.
We might get a Galvatron, Shockwave, Blitzwing, Ratchet, Ironhide, and Tracks, but not necessarily as Masterpieces.
Remember How people at Toy Fair confirmed FOC Metroplex was being made into a toy, just to then end up as a Classics Metroplex and not FOC at all?
Then there was that rumor that claimed that Takara's fan poll wasn't there to decide which figure would be made for the 30th, but the order in which they're released, and of course "from a reputable insider source".
Or that Hasbro was releasing 3rd Party figures like FP's Springer and Roadbuster, or Planet X's WFC Omega Supreme in an official capacity under a special line labeled "Thrilling 30", sure we got all of those characters, but they weren't exactly the 3rd party versions.
Here's the thing, these rumors are nice and dandy, and likely based on something someone said, but either misinterpreted, confused or heard in the wrong context.
I'll wait for official confirmation before I get exited.

i couldn't agree more. I can't remember this many MP rumors in such a short span ever. However, I thought Takara said it was doing 2 lg / 4 small per year, and if you look at the scale comparison they put out several years ago, Ironhide/Ratchet are larger than standard cars. Also, do we count Star Saber as one of this year's larges, or is it outside the norm because of the fan poll?

I seem to remember 1 large and 2 small new molds per year, not counting repaints and remolds.
I was going to say that we shouldn't count Star Sabre as this year's big one since Takara stated it wouldn't interfere with the main line and would be a stand alone piece - then I remembered how it's now designated as MP24, so I guess it's our big one this year. This still leaves the spot for two brand new mold characters though. Since we're already getting two small repaints this year (Exhaust and G2 Bumblebee).

Galvatron could be a retool of the Leader Megatron mould, since he often appears as a tank. However, I'm not sure if they'd use that mould 3 times. If they're not going with a combined Galvatron, then he himself may be part of a Combiner. Perhaps a Voyager figure with a new mould. I'd be well up for that, but I wouldn't know what mould they'd use. Possibly Prime/Menasor, but again, not sure if they'd use it a 3rd time.

Actually now that you mention it, didn't Hasbro announce that Combiner Wars was going to be heavily incorporated with the idw comics? IDW Galvatron recently got a redesign that turns him into a tank (was it an Earth tank? Not sure now). People did comment how this new design looks more toy friendly compared his original design, so maybe this rumored Galvatron will be CW and be based on the current idw design?
On top of that, Galvatron's peeps did work on combiner technology to fulfill the "till all are one" thing, before they went missing. So the combining Galvatron would make sense story wise.

They'll use a mold until it spontaneously combusts. How many iterations of the classics seeker mold are there?

Yeah, that mould is one of my faves. The thing is with the Seekers is that the characters were all pretty much indentical to begin with. Just a few variations here and there. I appreciate the little tweaks to what is essentially the same mould with the Aerialbots. They could've easily done a Seeker mould thing and just simply recoloured the 4 bots, but they at least made slight changes. I do think that was the reason why they threw in Alpha Bravo, simply because they didn't want it becoming too repetitive.

On the other hand, Star Saber was worked on on the side of the other more main MPs, what with it being the personal pet project of Yuki-san rather than being developed by either Hasui-san (the main man behind the MPs since MP-10) or Kobayashi-san (Hasui-san's successor).Dead Metal wrote:I was going to say that we shouldn't count Star Sabre as this year's big one since Takara stated it wouldn't interfere with the main line and would be a stand alone piece - then I remembered how it's now designated as MP24, so I guess it's our big one this year. That's kind of what I was thinking. If there is another large one in the works for this year, I'd still bet that it would be released end of December, a la Ultra Magnus. I do wonder if Ironhide and the eventual Ratchet will count as larges, and be somewhat on the order of Soundwave size

Ratchet and Ironhide make the most sense to me. Even if the person who supplied the info in the first place was downright lieing (which is probably not the case), I am certain those 2 are in the works. They are firstly, autobots (yeah I know, more autobots), very well known characters, and the same mold. This is the MP recipe right there.
The Megs as a tank is too much of a coincidence with the generations version. With the different reports on the composition of the upcoming generations Devastator being supposedly due to different inferences based on a picture, I can totally see how a retailer could confuse Gen Megs with an MP release with that Takara picture.
And this talk of Galvatron is getting me all hot. I didnt know there were talks for a combiner wars inclusion or anything of the sort. I just want a bigger Galvatron who,s arms doesnt pop off every time I transform him.

I agree that this makes the most sense, and I would love to see show accurate versions of both characters. Part of me wonders, though, if the gold release of Megatron was not to indicate a new Megatron but Reflector. They've been putting clues out there ever since MP-01's communicator pictures. Again, I know absolutely nothing, but it makes you wonder

Ill drink to that. I actually like the mold in of itself (if it was the only figure I had but it won't be heading up my top three of the line), it just sticks out like a sore thumb compared to the other cons. I'd take a combiner or a stand alone kick bum voyager that would look great standing on the bodies of his foes.
But if he's a combiner then who will he combine with?

I got this from the Combiner Wars thread. Apparently it's been rumored for a while now that the Silverbolt mold would get remolded into Cyclonus, who would then combine with other Decepticons to form Galvatron, while another variation has Galvatron as being part of a Combiner, instead of being the guy they combine into. The second one makes more sense, taking everything into account, especially how this is again part of an idw event, and having Galvatron turn from an actual character into a combined form of a bunch of Decepticons wouldn't make any sense, unless it's a deal like "Ultra Prime" and he's part of the combiner. Add to that, that that rumor makes even less sense, since in idw, Cyclonus isn't even a Decepticon, but also downright hates Galvatron and it's just crazy talk.
They both do have in common that Galvatron would be part of CW in some-sort of capacity.
But, since I have no idea when and how those rumors started, having just recently discovered them myself, it could just be based on speculation due to Galvatron's new idw design. So I remain skeptical.

I saw on another site's boards that someone had commented that CW Motormaster kind of looks like movie Galvatron. Seriously I think that's where it started.

God I just checked myself, and found a whole bunch of crazy.
Apparently the Silverbolt into Cyclonus started over at TFW due to Venksta, at around the same time as Titan Devastator. Then that rumor got a little more "credible" with the Fan Built Combiner contest
http://tformers.com/combiner-wars-a-hin ... /news.html
Then there's this guy on Alspark who claims that Titan Devastator is an up-scaled Legends ROTF Devastator
Kinda makes me want to go back and check on rumors for years old stuff. XD

It makes me wonder how many TT and Hasbro employees look at this stuff and laugh their arses off

looks like you can start believing the tracks and ironhide rumors.
Dont these listings already confirm those rumours?
Really?? Where in that thread is any confirmation? Rumor plus rumor does not equal fact

Not when Taobao is a C2C site rather than a B2C site. It's like if some Joe Shmoe were to have put up those same listings on eBay, and we'd certainly know better than to view something like that as truth.william-james88 wrote:TimothyR wrote:Syn_13 wrote:I don't buy those MP rumours at all...well, maybe Ratchet/Ironhide (sharing a mould), tracks and Shockwave at a push. Last I heard of that was someone making a joke. Did some other dude try to pass that off in a serious manner?Dead Metal wrote:Then there's this guy on Alspark who claims that Titan Devastator is an up-scaled Legends ROTF Devastator

Thanks for clearing that up, I thought it was a legit retail site.

HK Toyfair is also going on right now so here is a quick translation of what's been seen thanks to xueyue2 & chroma23 from Cybertron.ca:
Translation:
美版:美复G1铁甲龙、三尖头套装、闪电和大火车套装、录音机和感知器套装(磁带好像是钢钎和犀牛,感知器 的肩炮有特殊用处类似能看幻灯片)
Encore version (Platiumn?) tripticon, conheads, blitzwing & Astrotrain bundle, Perceptor & Blaster bundel
IDW Devastator is indeed Titan class, but because it's facing all the age groups, so single robot's transformation is not much. The demo versino is hand-made unfinished product, eblow can't move. There is a Defensor will be revealed in late of 2015, so far only Hotspot is showed, and just so-so quality. Scout class has Warpath.
日版:会有很多D级人物,都不是主线人物所以没细看,ps擎天柱和md老威不错但站立有些困难。组合方面增 加电镀和还原单体成员G1配色。
Japanese version: (nothing important, I won't translate. )
MP: This year will release 5 MP. And the MP25 is the same one as the pre-ordered on Taobao (I remember that Ironhide/Tracker on Taobao? Might be Tracker) It comes with "洛尔" ( a human?) and Blaster.
MP21G doesn't have Spike, but just a jetpad, the price will be lowered because of that.

US re-release tripticon, conheads set, blitzwing & astrotrain set, Perceptor & Blaster set: cassettes included looks like to be the animals, and the shoulder cannon on perceptor has some special purpose, rumored to be able to view slide shows

IDW Devastator is indeed Titan class, because it's designed for all ages, do not expect much in terms of individual bot's transformations (complexity i presume). displayed toy looks like a WIP hand-made (or painted) prototype and joints do not seem to move (my guess it's like the combiner wars at SDCC where the joints are hot glued?). for combiner wars, the latter half of the year will feature defensor, but for now they only showed hotspot but doesn't look too interesting. powerglide will have a purple decepticon repaint but dunno what the new name will be. other combiner wars legend class (like powerglide) include warpath and a few others that i couldn't remember. there will be a green repaint for the tank (assuming he's referring to warpath)
日版:会有很多D级人物,都不是主线人物所以没细看,ps擎天柱和md老威不错但站立有些困难。组合方面增 加电镀和还原单体成员G1配色。
japan releases: will have alot of deluxe class characters, but they aren't main characters do i didnt pay attention. PSX prime and MD megs is not bad but do not seem to stand pretty well. bundles (my guess is JP releases of generations figures?) will have additional chrome and more G1 accurate colors
MP: there will be 5 MPs this year. MP25 is the same as the rumors going around (tracks/ironhide). accessories include.....something (my guess will be Raoul and a radio (blaster) in reference to season 2 episode 36 "auto-bop"). they showed a gray prototype and looks posability is good. MP21G (G2 bee) will only include a jet pack replacing the exo-suit, but the price will be adjusted and reduced

Dead Metal wrote:Those MP rumors sound cool, but make little sense.
Your so correct! The rumor mill is running overtime right now, in addition to all the things stated above, it would be hard for the fandom to absorb this many MP's in one year. The development and manufacturing cost would also not be recoverable and would hurt the future of this line.....

It's legit, but it's like Amazon in that anyone can sell anything on there so if a seller hears a rumor and wants to get the jump on others incase they're real they list them.
There are a few problems with the listing that I posted here, but I'll summarize:
- Price - They list them at 8,400jpy when until the highest price of cars have been about 7,000jpy. Maybe a bigger figure like Ironhide would cost that, but not Tracks and Road Rage.
- Release order - Takara Tomy now staggers similar molds. Wheeljack -> Bumblebee -> Exhaust -> G2 Bumblebee.
- Numbers - Even when Takara Tomy does announce figures they don't always announce their number until later in production. It's not normal to give them numbers this early.
- Fembot - Road Rage might work as an exclusive repaint, but as a Masterpiece she'll look mighty funny in a masculine body. This isn't Binaltech. And really, Road Rage before Arcee? I don't know about that.
Now, that's not to say we won't get Tracks and Ironhide, but the listing has too many issues.
