Toys R Us is advertising this week that when you buy $25 of Transformers Games and Toys, you will receive a $5 gift card in return for use on your next purchase.
Of note: The advertisement showed a movie Bumblebee gift card, and the voice changing helmet is also on sale for $5 less, putting it at the same price point as competitors ($29.99).
Also it should be mentioned that toysrus.com has a similar sale, but offers an immediate $5 off for $25 or more online purchases.
And of course (however unfortunate) there is only 1 discount per purchase! Thanks to Canned Pasta for giving us the heads up last week, so we could save our $$$$ for this week!

buy 4 voyagers and seperate them into 2 transactions. Also if you bought some before the sale then bring your reciept and do a return-rebuy. You will owe nothing and get the gift card. I plan to do it tommorrow when I go to work tommorrow morning lol.

It is if you don't usually have a lot of extra cash lying around.
Some of us, after bills and food and whatnot, don't have a whole bunch of spending money and we need to look to save wherever we can.

Sorry to see that, but if you look at the date, it's a week old today, thus off the front page news, and the sale started yesterday, so why not post it again, to remind folks that this is happening...THIS WEEK!
**FYI--I updated the title to a reminder, and gave Canned Pasta news credit..thanks again!**

I agree with you, but I had to give the tru.com info too.
But it's not an immediate $5, right? It's just in the form of the gift card to be used later.

That's what the add suggests yes, although I have not done it yet... Buy $25 they give you a gift card for $5 to be used on your NEXT purchase...

Yeah they give you a $5 card to use the next time you buy something. So what you can do is after you get it put the stuff you just got in your car then go back in and get something else and use the card on that.
