You can also see comparisons bewteen the two Brainstorms here and a review for the Windblade mold in its Robots in Disguise colours here.
chuckdawg1999 wrote:The Titan Force set box is really nice looking, featuring an embossed front and back. The instructions unfortunately are printed on paper, which is fine, but the print is shrunk down and combined with the dark colors, ends up hard to read. Windblade is a vast improvement over the Generations version of the mold, and I personally like the blue and gray color scheme. If you're looking for the retail release I'd go with the Takara version, which is closer to the animation design.
chuckdawg1999 wrote:Ah yes, when Summer feels the hottest it's time once again for SDCC. With the lines for panels filled with A list celebrities who want to be anywhere else, showing trailers that are just slightly more than a title card, are even longer lines for baubles and trinkets in pretty packaging that drives up the price almost 100% over retail. The Titan Force set from Hasbro features an orange sherbet version of Sentinel Prime, and the first release of Deluxe Brainstorm. Prime is Prime, only more translucent. Brainstorm is an extensive remold of Deluxe Blurr. Brainstorm will be available at Walgreens at some point, but in a different deco.

Yes let's all blame hasbro for not keeping a trademark of a character that technically wasn't around for almost 20 years.![]()
Who cares, it's your toy. You can and will call him whatever you want.
well thrilling thirty had brainstorm and his name was arcana and its only been two years since then
Nope, the little guy went unnamed for Hasbro, as there was no real need then. TakaraTomy called him "Cana" by his original Japanese name.
In case you're curious, he's named after Nikola Tesla.

I'm 90% of the time going to go with Toy Accuracy other cartoon accuracy - especially after seeing the uglyness that results in cartoon accuracy with Unite Warriors Bruticus.

Or they all sold out in about 3 minutes...

However, as Agamemnon pointed out, the exclusives don't seem to want to ship yet, so you might have to wait until it is technically August 9th.

Unless I missed something (along with everyone on other TF sites and Star Wars sites) the SDCC exclusives haven't been made available yet (as of 2:33am ET). Just like other years, HTS simply put the product pages up.
So yeah, they aren't shipping yet because they aren't available yet.

I don't know that they were ever actually available. Every item in that list had insufficient inventory to add to cart last night until about 1:00 AM CDT when I went to bed, and the same every few minutes since I got up at 7:30 AM CDT this morning.
I'm hoping anyone who was able to get an exclusive will share that here.

Cerebros has a faceplateless head. Both of them also have different paint apps than retail, but that's it.
