If true, there goes any chance of a movie-accurate Deluxe SS for TF3. Don't have the ROTF one w/ me, but what's under the roof, the arms? How many convertible TF cars have there been? I can think of the Alternators Honda S2000 and Dodge Viper, any Deluxes? On the Dlx scale it'll be harder to make it work.
The link above shows a better front-end view and describes some other changes- the ehadlights are now in the front end recesses, new dual hood scoops, different grill and wheels. Hmm. I'm starting to dig.

Wouldn't be surprised if Hasbro just repaints the existing mold but paints the roof a slightly different color and says he has his roof up (it's a convertible, after all).

There`s Clocker, from Cybertron, but it`s a Scout.Hip-Hoptimus Rime wrote:Yeah, I'm not digging it. I think the lack of a full-height windshield throws off the aesthetics.

As far as a toy, I don't even remotely care.

Looks like nothing new with Prime here...

I'm hoping this convertible is really Sunstreaker, with Sideswipe as the hardtop (even though he hasn't been spotted on the set yet). C'mon Bay - give us Sunstreaker already! Skids and Mudflap as twins?? If you have Swipe, you've gotta bring Streaker too!! And give them some actual screen time too!!!

Its doubtfull that this belongs to any private owner concidering that there are only a few versions of the the Sting Ray concept in exshistance. Non of which are in the hands of the general public.
I for one like this version. I don't see it being any less "manly" than the coupe.

Very true. There isn't likely a private owner of one of these outside of GM. Also, even though I prefer the hard top, this is still about as "chick magnet" as a car could possibly be. It is definitely not a wuss car.

It appears to be Bumblebee, the topless Corvette Stingray Concept, and a red Ferrari.
