Itching to own a San Diego Comic Con 2016 Transformers exclusive figure or set? Waiting to hear news on their availability on the legit online market? Hasbro Toy Shop have posted an FAQ to answer most of the questions you might have about it all! Including, of course, the availability date: 9th August.

When will the Comic Con exclusives be available on the site?

Although subject to change, we are planning on having the Convention Exclusives available to order on Tuesday, August 9th.The product will be located in the EXCLUSIVES category. No phone orders will be accepted. All Convention Exclusives are excluded from any promotions and discounts.

What will the limits be for the figures?
The limits will be the same at the show and on the site once they go live. These limits are per person and per household.

Can I get on a waiting list for Comic Con items?

No, HasbroToyShop.com does not have a waiting list for any items including Comic Con items.

Can I preorder Comic Con items?

No. We will not be preselling the Comic Con items.

The products were in my cart, yet when I went to check out, they were gone! How does that happen?

Placing an item in the cart does not reserve the item(s). Product is not committed until you actually complete the checkout process and receive a confirmation email with an order number. Due to the high demand of these items, an item can sell out while you are attempting to finalize your order. Should that happen; you will be required to remove the sold out item from your cart before you can proceed with the rest of your order. Please note, if there is a problem processing your order, you will be notified immediately. Failure to promptly respond accordingly may result in your order being cancelled.

Why was one of my orders canceled?

If your combined orders exceeded the maximum quantity limits set for each item, orders over the set amount are canceled. These limits are per person and per household

Will phone order be accepted for comic con items?

We are not accepting orders via phone for any comic con items. All orders must be placed online.

Can I use discounts or promotion codes on Comic Con items?

No. The standard HasbroToyShop.com policy does not include exclusives, including Comic Con items, for promotions or discounts.

So when do you think they will sell out?
Last year I got them the night after they were available no problem! But someone said they sold out while they were buying it?!
My concern is that I'm traveling on August 9th and might be offline for a good 48 hr if not more

But I do remember last year the exclusives were available for at least a week I think

Yeah, last year the TF SDCC stuff hung around for a good while. It's probably a YMMV situation.

I'm a little out of loop this year; what are the hot TF SDCC items this time around?

I'm considering the 3 Pack: Brainstorm, Windblade, and Sentinel Prime, as the only other way (at this time) to get Brainstorm is through Wallgreens. Plus, that Windblade is a repaint of the RiD line (Warriors class?) Windblade, so would be a unique mold for me. I'm kinda Meh on Sentinel, which is why I haven't completely decided.

Fortress Maximus comes with his Master Sword, which is not coming with the normal Hasbro release. But, since I have acquired a Master Sword, I will not be over-paying for SDCC Ft. Max. (Plus, isn't one of the heads from the Takara set?)

I think there might be a couple of other Transformers related items, but these are the two I've seen the most chatter about.

I'm planning on getting the GI Joe/Transformers crossover set with vehicles based on Powerglide and Soundwave. Going back and forth on Fort Max.

As for hot items, last year the site slowed to an absolute crawl because people were trying to get the First Order Stormtrooper figure. I don't think anything this year will sell out that fast, but you'd better get in early if you want, say, the Magic cards set.

I didn't know that tablet was also a SDCC item. It's pretty neat looking and a similar one has been on TFS for some time now. I would assume the SDCC one will be different?

How much is FORTMAX?
I know the three pack is 75$ but I'm not sure how much the big guy is and I really want him sorta a childhood back story thing I'm obsessed with him

Hate to rain on parades, but it sports virtually no new paint apps, the SDCC version is nearly identical to the TR version, and the Master sword has no paint apps either, it's just plain red plastic with a plain black hilt
