Savcon is Savannah, Georgia’s First yearly unofficial Transformers convention, it will be held on June 23rd and June 24th, 2012. We are offering a family friendly environment for families and fans of the franchise to come and enjoy all of the events over the weekend. With the popularity of the recent Live Action Transformer movies, which have grossed $3Billion worldwide, non-profit fan Conventions, like ours, are growing at an alarming rate around the country to give fans a chance to meet Hollywood Movie Stars and Voice Actors from their favorite Transformers animated/live action Universe. Savcon's first year attractions include special guest Voice Actors Greg Berger, Neil Kaplan Lee Tockar and Daniel Ross with our special guest panelist Alex Yuas well as Jon Bailey and Craig Crumpton. We are pleased to have them as part of our 2012 events!

FracturedKoi wrote:I'm planning on going! My friend, Jared, started talking about this convention last year, and, since it's not too far of a drive from Alabama, where we live, we're stoked! Can't wait!
Thank you for the support!
We may know the same Jared, If its the one I'm thinking about he is on the Savcon Facebook page. Awesome guy!

Sounds like a great plan! Come one come all!
Rated X wrote:If this gets favorable feedback I might do it the following year since Im in Florida. Then I can pass by Atlanta on the way home and check out the legendary magic city.
We are encouraging everyone to bring their video camera and we will be posting videos on our Youtube page "Savcon2012". We will try to film as much as we can for those that can't make it. Hope you can make it next year!Hope to see you in the future!
LadyBug wrote:I'm still debating about going, but I don't know if I can afford the traveling expenses to this year since I'm going to NYCC. They do seem to have their act together and really give what the fans want. I'm already impressed for their first year.
Thank you so much for the kind words, We are trying our hardest to give everyone a great show. We do understand about the expenses, especially in this economy, that's why we are so focused on being affordable every year.
We hope you can make it, if not, we will be here every year and we hope to see you!

Savcon would like to inform you that 3rd party companies, dealers & fans are welcomed at our current and future shows. We are dedicated to having an event that represents the essence of fandom, big and small.
We are a “for fans by fans” convention and our stance on 3rd party items is the same as that of Fan Fiction, Fan Art, Fan Music, Fan Costuming (Cosplay) and customization. We shall always encourage and support creative individuality.
Fan made material is intended to breathe life into a loved franchise, no matter what that franchise may be, with the sole intent of enjoyment throughout the rest of the fandom.
Have a great day..
We look forward to meeting everyone at Savcon!
