This gallery includes images of the upcoming Transformers Kre-o Micro-Change and Micro-Change Combiners products. The Combiners series includes Superion and the Aerialbots, Bruticus and the Combaticons, Predacon (Predacis?) and the Predacons, and Devastator and the Constructicons. There are more Micro-Change figures available, but only some official images were supplied. You can view our full gallery of the products on display at SDCC by clicking here.
If you've got questions, please ask and we'll do our best to answer them for you as time allows over the next few days. We'd also like to thank Hasbro for making these images available to us so quickly during SDCC.
Enjoy!

"Wreckers... COMBINE!"
"RUINATION, AWAKEN! And now, together as one... WRECK AND RULE!!!"
They have FoC bodies.
In the FoC game's multiplayer mode, you can customize your own TFs, exchanging heads, painting them whatever, etc.
Essentially, you can play as The Wreckers in Fall of Cybertron!
Oh, I realised that, but if I do make them in FOC, I'll do it in the right colours.

Proto works in progress. These photos were rushed to give us access to them. The final product will be fully plasticized.

Just get the last one, "Quickslinger" and attatch him someplace, same goes for blastoff, I'm sure you can use your imagination to make full combiners. As for devastator, you may need to get two extras and create the 6th one all by yourself. But really, I can see myself buying these and all the little extras to make full combiners.

I could see Hasbro including a special set of instructions with the fifth members for a full 5-man combiner team. It'd be a nice touch.

That is likely, yes. Still, we have yet to see a Thundetron stock photo.

How disappointing.
Would it be nice if every character got a unique mold? Of course.
But would it be economically feasible? Most likely not.
At least they've got remolded parts, not just repaints.
I find it understandable for HasTak to milk these molds for all they can get. It makes perfect economic sense.
Besides, I find that I like some remolds or recolors better than others.
And in this case, we also get TWO references to TFs fiction ("Wreckers, combine" & Emirate Xaaron).
Posted by craggy on July 15th, 2012 @ 6:15pm CDT
Sometimes we do get repaints and retools that don't make any sense. Imagine an orange and green version of the Classics Bumblebee mold being called Ultra Magnus, for example. That sort of thing can and does happen, but thankfully it's fairly rare, or at least not overwhelmingly more prevalent than those repaints that work well.

He's probably curious as to how the hammer will use it's gimmick. In other words, how will the hammer unfold from the ammo box "gun" that it normally is. I'm rather curious to see if Hasbro will give us the chance to actually lock the weapons starting with Wave 3. Otherwise, Magnus' hammer will serve useless.

craggy wrote:I have absolutely no problem with repaints. Plenty of characters started out as repaints. There's plenty of characters who work good enough as repainted versions of another. I do like new heads when something wasn't originally a direct repaint, and more expansive retools can be cool too, like the Wheeljack/Tracks thing in Generations.

Aye, don't get me wrong, I've no problem with repaints as a rule. I realise that a lot of characters wouldn't exist without them or remolds. But these GDO (yeah, what does that stand for?) Generations figures are lazy attempts at pulling in more money using molds, a number of which make less sense than TFCC exclusives. It doesn't help that I have a feeling these will constitute over a quarter of the proposed Generations figures.

Exactly, if peaugh or Optibotimus manage to review him before he's released and his hammer doesn't lock, then I'll be getting the Arms Micron version.

Ok, let me put this in a semantically non-ambiguous way:
I would like to see a stock photo of the same type as the ones in this thread - i.e. robot mode and alt mode in separate shots, on white background. Mostly to remove the blurriness of the catalogue one.
There. Happy now?

Actually, it almost does. But I seriously doubt they'll ever make it. It's too close of a color for them to do that, unless they wanna call him Zeta Magnus

You know the whole argument for Grimlock: Giant Space Fire-breathing Dinosaur Robot?
This is on the same lines: Giant Space Peg-leg Pirate Robot Lion.
Pirates. In Space. Who are robots. And also animals.
It's a matter of ticking all the boxes of childhood obsessions.
I, personally, love him. I don't expect anyone else to do so.
Just realised: we have TF zombies, dinosaurs and pirates, and the characters are shapeshifters by nature. So far, all the biggest current trends are there!

(As for the second part, I recommend watching the recent Sky adaptation of Treasure Island. A whole different level of pirates, compared to Disney's Pirates of the Caribbean.)

I dont think the games are the same timeline
Seeing how in wfc megatron obtains dark energon but in tf prime he gets it for the first timeand search the galaxy for more and found it on earth. While wfc megs had a ton of it lol.
And also how many characters like bruticus and metroplex not being mentioned.
Foc should just continue into a G1 story.

Indeed, there are several glaring inconsistencies if one considers them one continuity. It's far easier to consider them merely a continuity family.Megatronsdemise666 wrote:Sabrblade wrote:Especially with that FOC Dinobots comic series that leads directly into season 3 of Prime?Heckfire wrote:So...are people STILL gonna argue that TFP isn't part of the Alligned continuity with the games and books?
