Yes it will. Because this is such a major crime there will no doubt be a 6 month court trial and if he's found guilty the appeal process could take up to 2 years.
Seriously, it's a trumped up littering charge. He'll get slapped with a fine!

"Innocent. Feed Shia to the sharkticons"

Yet another arrogant "cool" actor gets typecast as himself in every movie he's in.
Funny and spontaneous to work with. Great kisser (Megan Fox said so in some interview I read), is too good for public smoking regulations, and then doesn't appear in court.
Wow, I'm totally floored.

While I completely understand your arguement and agree with it DZ, C'mon. Its Cali we're talking about. You live there, I lived there. The smog alone is enough to kill a person. Smoking in the street a punishable offense? Then driving should be outlawed there too as exhaust fumes are just as harmful to people.

If it was for smoking on the street then I'm on his side. That's weak sauce.

Alot of states are moving that into effect. Chicago just did so its illegal to smoke within 15 feet of any public business. So in order to smoke on the street you have to literally be on the street. They just passed the indoor smoking ban which took effect the first of January. Im a social smoker, it kinda irked me but I agree with the indoor ban. I dont want my kids breathing that crap in. I never smoke around them, I dont want anyone else to either. But if your out in public, where nature itself can be harmful to you, I dont see a problem with smoking.

I'm not a smoker, and I can understand it being banned in fast food places, work places and so on. However I have to say I got real mad when they banned it in bars.
I still go to them, but there's something lacking in the smoke free dull lights and not being able to offer a girl a light!?! Worse yet, having to go outside to smoke gives her a second to let rational kick in and let her freind drive her home. Now a pimp can work around it, but it's not as easy as when you could just keep her there pouring drinks down here throat!
Stupid PC laws.
