Smokescreen and Bluestreak look more likely. There's no reason to make the lightbar a removable accessory unless you want to use the mold without it.

Well he won’t becuase that’s a 5 year old toy but he’s got plenty of 5mm screw holes so you can put parts on him but don’t think they designed him to actually have a certain function with metroplex

Prowl needs his rocket Launchers. That seems an odd feature to leave out in this more war themed line, but the Classics Prowl is in need of a replacement.
Preditron I am more on the fence about.

Yeah, I feel the same. I knew he'd have Cybertronian glyphs on him instead of English, like Red Alert (I hope Toyhax/Reprolabels makes some stickers), but I'm not happy with a few of the paint apps. Why did they make his crotch triangle yellow? It's always been red. They use red for the head crest, so why not use some down there? There's enough superfluous yellow elsewhere on the figure, like those arm stripes (that don't need to be there) and the on the sides of the pelvis (which should be gray). I also don't like how the Autobot tampograph is off center on the hood either. It could have been centered just fine, even if it had to be a bit smaller. Finally, are his thighs and abdomen just a very dark gunmetal gray? I can't be certain, as the monitor I'm using right now doesn't have the greatest color contrast, but it looks to be the same black as his paint apps, which is also not accurate. Otherwise, the sculpt is great. It's a shame, though, since Sideswipe and Red Alert came out pretty much as perfect as I could hope with their paint apps. Maybe future Bluestreak and Smokescreen repaints (if they happen) will have better, more accurate detailing.

Prowl having no shoulder launchers is cartoon-accurate, as this line is meant to reference the first few minutes of MTMTE Part 1.Flashwave wrote:Prowl needs his rocket Launchers. That seems an odd feature to leave out in this more war themed line, but the Classics Prowl is in need of a replacement.

No, it more looks like a futuristic car, like Siege Sideswipe and Hound. I'm fine with that, honestly. It makes him work all the better as a replacement for Universe/Henkei Prowl. Interestingly, it looks like his wheels are clear plastic, like the windows. I wish they had gone for a smokier gray color for the clear plastic, though. It would have helped the lower legs look a little more interesting and the wheels pass a little more as rubber "Earth" tires. After getting a chance to look at the official renders, it does seem like Prowls got dark gray thighs to contrast with his black parts, which is a relief. I hope the abdomen gets the same treatment, but it's still so hard to tell. We need good in-hand pics already! Also of note, Prowl seems to have very minimal "battle damage" at all. It appears to be entirely relegated to some paint scratching on the black paint of his car hood. That will, of course, make it a lot harder to potentially remove those paint apps, as they are right on top of a different coat of paint that you'd want to retain. At least he doesn't look like he's coming down with a case of cosmic rust like Megatron with his dirty mud "splotches."

In regards to his shoulder launchers he does have those two small rectangular holes on his collar area which don't seem to serve any purpose so maybe that is what they are for.

Pteraxadon looks cool, he'll be the only Action Master I'll pick up of the ones we've seen so far.
Six-Gun is absolutely the best part of this reveal though. He ISN'T just a repaint/retool of Cog, he looks amazing, he actually has HANDS now, and his new Cybertronian VTOL gunship alt mode looks badass.
I also like how the product details for Six-Gun call him a tank, but we're all ignoring that because he looks nothing like a tank.
I do have a concern though: do those slides say these guys are all Wave 2 figures? If that's true, Hasbro's going to be putting out a wave with SIX new Deluxes, which basically guarantees short-packing. That's bad news for everyone who wants three Refraktors...

Prowl, just... something is not right objectively it looks good, but something just isn't right, and it's kind of disappointing that this is most likely the mold for Barricade. The alt mode is gorgeous, but the bot mode is lacking somewhere I can't quite place

I think the problem is that these are Hasbro's computer renders and not the actual product that we'll be able to buy that is part of the problem. Whatever lighting effects they are using are washing out a lot of the gunmetal gray in parts of the figure, making those parts blend with the black parts. Another problem is that there is too much yellow going on, where red or gray/white paint would have made more sense and been more G1 accurate (cartoon or toy). The yellow arm stripes are a nod to the toy, I understand, but they could have used the traditional red triangle and silver detailing on the pelvis instead of solid yellow. Yes, I checked and the G1 toy had yellow outlines around those shapes on the pelvis, but that's a far cry from filling in those features as solid yellow. The legs are a little plain looking too. Some don't like their shape, but it's pretty spot on for his G1 look, honestly. What doesn't work so well is the colorless clear plastic for the windows. They should have either gone with light blue for a cartoon look or smoky gray for a G1 toy look. Either color would help break up the solid "white" on the lower legs. A few more touches, like some orange-red turn signals on the front and back bumpers would have been nice too, and provided a little more dynamic coloring for the robot mode chest and feet. We've seen some changes between the Hasbro renders and the final product before, so I'm hoping Prowl isn't too far into production right now for Hasbro to make at least one of these changes (I'm betting on the color of the clear plastic being changed ultimately).

Aww too bad, probably he'll be compatible with Slammer and Scamper for some reason. Sixgun Origininally was an AA Radar on G1 but he looks like a futuristic Gunship that looks similar to IDW Whirl.

Why does Reflector being in Wave 3 mean that Wave 2 has five figures instead of four?

Some combination of Frenzy, Rumble, Buzzsaw, Ratbat, Wingthing seems like a safe bet for a second or third spy pack.
Slamdance and Squawkbox or bust!
Or Tigerbreast and Eaglebreast because at this point with the new scale I think Dezarus would be a Voyager and I doubt they'd be able to include his Breast Animals at the price. But seeing how big the tapes are and the convenience of two-packs this seems like a great solution.

Sixguns' alt mode reminds me of Generations Sandstorm's.
I think the problem with Prowl is the clear windows in the legs are huge making them look entirely hollow. I hope it looks better in person, but I have my doubts. Hopefully Barricade has dark tinted windows which should look better.
Munkky wrote:Hmm, if Prowl and Six-Gun are Wave 2, that'll mean Wave 2 of the Deluxes for this line will be a lot larger than usual.
Right now Wave 2 is only 4 figures like wave 1, adding these two to Chromia and Ironhide. It wouldn't be too surprising if there was a fifth figure (hopefully a Decepticon) in wave 2 since PotP wave 2 and TR wave 4 both had five figures.

Really, we don't have enough confirmed WFC ID's in order to determine who is released when, most notably S8 and S9 are missing for the Deluxes. And product codes are no real help as in the past they never lined up with other forms of ID 100% of the time.
Generally speaking, E35** is for Waves 1 and 2, but E44** that Refraktor, Brunt and Red Alert fall under seem to be planned for Wave 3. But plans can change in a split second.

Wolfman Jake wrote:Why does Reflector being in Wave 3 mean that Wave 2 has five figures instead of four?
The issue here is that until right now, nobody knew who was in Wave 2. We know for a fact that Ironhide and Chromia are part of it. After NYCC, everyone assumed, apparently incorrectly, that Refraktor and Brunt were also in Wave 2, and maybe Red Alert as well. Fast forward to today, when two more figures are announced that are absolutely in Wave 2, and now we potentially have a 6-7 figure Deluxe Wave out of nowhere WHAT!?
So confirmation of Refraktor being Wave 3 means we're down to 6, and Red Alert TECHNICALLY wasn't revealed officially, so we're down to 5 unless Brunt is also Wave 3. If he is, THEN Wave 2 is four Deluxes.
Basically, Hasbro just needs to be clearer what waves the figures are in when they show them off for this line, given how strange and eclectic the reveals have been.
