Howdy fellow Seibertronians. It's been a minute since we shared with you the in-hand images and video review of Robots in Disguise Battle Pack Grimlock vs Decepticon Back and Bumblebee vs Major Mayhem. Yours truly has spotted both today at the Toys R Us in Baton Rouge, LA. It must have been a banner restock day at Toys R Us, because legion Clampdown, Drift, Thunderhoof and Windblade were also hanging on pegs. Check out the freshly minted in-store photos below. A Warrior class would be cool, but I don't realy need one when I have the Legion version. When they make a Warrior class version for him it's likely to be more show accurate in vehicle mode, but I prefer this one. Same thing with Springload. If they make a Warrior class for him, the robot mode will be much better, but I didn't like his vehicle mode in the show. The one-step vehicle mode looks awesome.

While Hasbro revealed their version of Power Surge Optimus during the investor meeting slides, they also sent some promotional toy images, which were found on Business Wire. At first, it seemed like the picture below was just a picture of that same Optimus toy, just not a 3D render. However, after closer inspection, this is actually a completely different toy using the same theme. This reveals a new product which is a redeco/retool of the Warrior Optimus toy decked out in Power Surge colours (quite reminiscent of Thunderclash) with some clear blue swords. You can see this new picture below and compare it to the other version of Power Surge Prime.

The top looks like a remold of the Deluxe class version and the lower one like a new bigger one with a gimmick. I think when you plug in the Chestmaster, the wings and the shoulder guns unfold and maybe some lights and sounds are activated.

That would be great. I would be absolutely satisfied with that if we don't get a Nova Prime out of Titans Return or Titan Wars.

While we were already made aware of both a Warrior class and larger Power Surge Optimus toy, Hasbro has now revealed more images of these two along with official images of other new toys such as Warrior Class Windblade and Scorponok. Enjoy!

Is Windblade a remold of the Generations toy?

It kinda looks like that which would explain the alternate deco at the very least it looks like this one has better feet.

first of all

Warrior Class Windblade looks waay better than that tacky Legion one! i'm impressed

& aye Scorpy looks ok, i still can't get the Bayformer one out of my head when i look at his scorpion mode though

& Optimus......with blades! Optimus......with........blades! :DANCE:

Then it has a lot of the same kind of molding including the sword which is also eerily similar with the Sword and it's sheath design invoking a lot of the same visuals as the Generations mold.

So Windblade is a retool of the Generations deluxe. OK, that's fair enough. But Primus, did they have to get rid of the ball-jointed wrists? That was one of the few good things about that mold. I hope I'm wrong and it's just the photography making her look like she has no wrists, but if they DID nix the articulation then that's pretty sh!tty.

She never had ball-jointed wrists, but you can see here:

She does indeed have no wrist articulation, but I don't think that she is a remold of the gen figure however :-?

It really doesnt look like a retool to me. It looks like a totally new mold which has a similar design. The transformation is bound to be different.
