Starting this week, the Kentucky Fried Chicken (KFC) outlets in Singapore are selling some cute Transformers Movie 3 - Dark of the Moon (DOTM) toys, with their special set meals! Follow this link for more info and to view some tiny photos of the 4 DOTM toys offered in the set!
The DOTM movie is expected to be screened in local cinemas in July 2011, so this DOTM toys promotion is rather early. Perhaps it’s to coincide with Hasbro’s early release of the first few waves of DOTM toys to the departmental and retail stores here since 14 May 2011.
The KFC DOTM figures look to be in robot modes only, and they don’t seem to be able to transform into vehicle modes. Nonetheless, they still make nice additions to the collections of die hard DOTM toy collectors. Happy DOTM toys collecting!

Will KFC America follow suit? This will be deviating from Burger King, who supplied the fast food toys for the first two films.

Next up on Product Placement Imitates Art: McDonald's produces the long awaited sequel to 'Mac & Me', complete with Decepticons invading the aliens' home planet of Klo and slaughtering them to convert their natural Coke springs into energon, just like in Marvel US#79! Will the Food-Changeables arrive in time?!?!?

Were Boxmasters the only ones who understood their packaging well enough to read the stats without the red plastic? Or was that just something Transmetal 2 Prowl could do in owl mode?

Also, I WANT TWO!
Laughed my ass off.

I used to joke that if TM2 Prowl actually knew more about past TFs than other Maximals, it was likely because of the translucent red plastic covering his one eye like a scouter in owl mode; it seemed to me that its only practical function would be to enable him to read G1 tech specs without those plastic strips, which had doubtlessly been lost in the mists of history by his time because hardly any collectors saved them.
I guess I just couldn't come up with a "Boxmaster" joke that made sense to anyone but me. Well, thanks for posting his bio!

Agreed. Is that a big tater-tot sticking out of the wrap near the front?

That was my first thought exactly.
The two pieces on the plate are even more ridiculous. The one on the left looks like a big, hairy potato and the one on the right looks like a coiled up batter snake.

Dude, joke away! This is the second most adult toy site I've been on!

Please keep it within reason. There are kids on this site.
I'm not 100% sure, but I think we try to keep stuff at about PG-13 or so.
I really do want these figures. Not sure why either. They just look cool.
