Slagacon 2011 Registration Now Available

For those of you that couldn't make it out to Botcon this year, this might help ease the pain. Slagacon 2011 has just updated it's website with open registration for the event, being held in October in Chesterfield IN.

Registration has been improved for easy online access with secure Pay Pal payments for added security. You can find all the details on the event by clicking here.

They have also revealed a concept sketch for their first exclusive dubbed "Vector Zeta", which appears to be an add-on set for Classics Optimus Prime. No word on who is manufacturing this set. Visit their website for further details.

Our first exclusive, and newest member to our comic book crew, is Vector Zeta. He is available in extremely limited quantities for pre-registrants, but will be available for order at the convention.

UPDATE: Due to a technical issue, we’re temporarily removing the Vector Zeta figure from the pre-registration page. He will return for pre-registrants as soon as we get the issue cleared up. We are aware there is a great deal of interest in this item, and working hard to get Vector Zeta listed again. Sorry for the delay, and thank you for your understanding.

For someone who lives in Indiana, this is great news. And That Classics Prime add-on looks pretty neat as well.

I may go to this since I missed Botcon this year and if that exclusive is as good as the sketches, I'm in. But I ain't biting until I see pics/proto pics of the figure.

It's a 11 hour drive from NJ and I hate driving that long. I wonder if it's worth it to drive out there? Any suggestions? Do you guys think it will be worth it?

I had alot of fun last year, lots of dealers with nice deals

. Not to mention getting to meet Greg Berger!, definitely a high point for me with this hobby.

That exclusive really has me excited, but like Prime Evil said, I really would like to see some finished products pics and some info on who is producing it before I drop that kind of money on it.
