Thanks to a heads up from seibertronian EmoTim, we have news that the Robosen autoconverting Optimus Prime figure is currently at its lowest observed price online on Best Buys website at $549.99, which is $150 off the normal retail price. This puts Prime around the original cost of a Haslab Unicron.

Robosen Prime is an autoconverting figure that you can program to do all kinds of things like dance, fight, and more, in addition to his baseline transformation. We will warn you though, once you power him off, he will not stand on his own. He is purely a figure to command, not one to play with.

If you were on the fence about him before, this may be your best chance to get a hold of one!

Any discount is welcome, but it's still too high a price for anyone but the wealthiest, most hardcore collectors.

Cool, ordered both. Weird that Prime isn't even in stock and they've still discounted him like that. Also noticed while Primal is discounted from the "list price" Prime is off the "typical price" weird because it makes Prime's deal look less impressive even though it's the same price.

Gamestop is doing a collectibles sale similar to the ones that Target does on full priced in stock items.

Spend $75 save 10%
Spend $125 save 20%

They also have a bunch of stuff on clearance.

My order:

I know this will be different based on region and possibly even individual store,
but I just returned my Buzzworthy SS86 Ironhide and Prowl 2-pack, and bought it back for 50% off.
With a RedCard, even after tax it was < $30.

Now I'm up for attempting that surgery; just need to get a couple of those "specialized tools".

Some of those Marvel Legends 60th anniversary sets are on sale too. The stand that comes with Hawkeye works with Nemesis I think.

It's not just Target, I hit one of the local Walmarts that I don't get to very often anymore and they still don't have G2 stuff yet while my regular Walmart is on their fourth case of Deluxe figures.

Target is doing their Circle Week sale this week. $10 off $50 and $25 off $100 in toys. They have the Troop 4 pack and Armada Megatron in stock and MPM Bonecrusher still available for pre-order and you can use the deals more than once. I canceled my old Bonecrusher order and ordered it again to save $25.
