Takara Reveals Canon Reflector Crossover Figure

It turns out there is not one but TWO Canon Transformers crossover figures. We saw Prime already and now we see Reflector. While Optimus Prime will be non exclusive (and can currently be preordered on Amazon Japan), Reflector is a TTMall exclusive. Fans in the west will still be able to get him through online collector stores but he will probably be more expensive than Prime. We'll know when the preorders come out soon.

Canon Reflector comes with his own special accessories like a version of his G1 self that can split into three and a quantum dial which he can insert into his camera lens chest.

Neither camera is functional. Below are images of the reveal along with a video.

Ah, there you go!
Even if Reflector is by his lonesome, he make much, MUCH more sense as a character than Optimus.

That's the one I'd get if it's not some sort of hard to find exclusive.

And that, my friends, is how you do a proper crossover. Shame we never retroactively got a Vector Prime out of the G-Shock Collab.

And now all you Binaltech/Alternity collectors out there have to get this Reflector too, since he comes with a Quantum Dial that's an important part of the Binaltech/Alternity lore.

Both look terrible. Siege Reflektor 3-pack was the best update so far, in my opinion.

That's like comparing Earthrise Optimus to the the PlayStation Optimus. They're not the same thing.

It's not wrong, they're just going for Pointblank's American G1 Season 4/Marvel appearance instead of his more common toy and Headmasters appearance unfortunately

Nope, its not.

It's his Marvel Comics head, which is different to the toy head or cartoon head entirely.

To me Canon Prime makes absolutely zero sense, thus am not interested. Reflector on the other hand does but it's too bad it's an Exclusive I might have bought it.

It's only exclusive in japan, it's not exclusive in the US, you can still buy it. The preorders will be up within a week.

As logical as Reflector is, I liked the look of Prime more (and he will look great with my collection of "odd" Optimus Primes, such as PSX Prime.
