It's different in Japan as I don't think they counted exclusives like SS Thundercracker

On their own, I love the G1 designs. In context, I despise that everything has to be about those designs all the time, specially in the last 8 years or so. G1 already has the WFC Line, and has had the Prime trilogy before that, and that's not counting the Classics/Universe reinterpretations of G1 that came even earlier than that. So some of us are pretty miffed that what seemed to be a little corner away from G1 is getting G1-ified too.

Studio Series is selling pretty well by me (Chicago area), with the exception of helicopter Dropkick who still lingers at a few stores, but even those stores are stocking new waves around them. They are even selling enough that I have found earlier releases that must have been stuck in a warehouse and passed over until recently, which tells me the warehouse is emptying out enough that the older cases are being pushed through.
